I always assumed that the number was right, only it included all the crew backstage, concessions workers, security, literally every single human being in the arena.... It inflates the numbers, but could be argued that all were "in attendance" despite not having paid a ticket to the show....

Nah, floor seats and the press boxes and suites easily adds 10k to max capacity. Maybe they even sold standing room only tix...doubtful, but maybe...I honestly don't think they fudged the numbers by more than ~250 if at all.
