Week 2 in the books:

-Another back and forth promo battle

-Zero crowd reaction (although to be fair, the crowd's been quiet most of night)

-They've added a totally unnecessary breaking transition for Hardy

-Another laughing exchange which was way longer than last week and, after WWE posted a literal 10 hour video of Hardy laughing this weekend, now feels incredibly forced

-First thing they cut to afterwards is the announcers laughing it up and talking about how goofy Matt Hardy is acting

I was hoping WWE could at least get the feud to their inevitable gimmick match before they totally fucked it up. And I'm no longer optimistic about that.

Yeah. Matt's already tweeted a tease saying that these first two weeks were to "draw out the demon" and that he'll "elevate the ante" next week, whatever that means.

Could mean nothing but given how active he's been in reading his Tweets I'm sure he's seen the mountain of negative comments about this week's promo feeling just like a forced, hamfisted WWE effort and wanted to try to get ahead of it.
