In a lot of ways, Andre the Giant had some serious mental problems in my opinion. Dave Meltzer and Percy Pringle have also commented on this.

I bet Andre took some big shits to. To be fair though sitting on a regular toilet was probably rough and the bed was alot more comfortable. Everyone should be comfortable when they poop.
