Gamera is an entirely different franchise but if I had to guess Mothra and Godzilla are the good guys Rodan and Ghidorah are the bad guys

Might surprise you with an easter egg. Or the aforementioned "shared universe" thing.

I feel the same about this as I feel about the current Planet of the Apes franchise: I'm not super amped about it, but it still looks like it's worth a watch. Then again, I'm a guy who is down for rubber suited purity. Godzilla just ain't Godzilla unless he's wrecking HO scale shop.

You know what you're right I forgot that Rodan kind of functions in a grey area
King Ghidorah however is evil and LOVING it.

Also with mothra's new design I can officially welcomed her to the fight I've always kind of felt like she was useless ( in a certain sense) but now that she's got her refined look I'm looking forward to seeing her throw down
