People are complaining about how long WM was but G1 started officially 1/2 hour after WM (730) and only ended right about midnight so basically it was 1 hour shorter.

Pretty close. Women's 6-man tag and then they did a 30-man Rumble that went around 45-50 minutes.

So it sounds like THAT show was too long and it was still an hour and a half shorter than WrestleMania. Pretty significant.
