- Bungie intends for this updated version of the Moon to be more dreadful and horror themed.

- Players will be able to slot armor perks from one armor set into another set they like; based on aesthetics.

- Bungie teased a new artifact system that offers new perks, with the highest tier of these perks being "close to that of an exotic".

- New kill animations have been added for each character. Titans get a powerful punch, Hunters perform a flurry of dagger strikes, and Warlocks do a force push.
