I mean it’s anecdotal but read the comments on YouTube for anything related to the show and you’ll find plenty of “first time I’ve watched the whole show this year” type comments. I’m not saying it’s casuals or brand new fans that saw the news and thought “this could be interesting”, it’s more likely that the bump is from fans that would normally DVR and watch later actually tuning in live.

Or, of course, there was a big chunk of fans that saw Crown Jewel and thought “I gotta watch me some more of that!!”.

In my opinion one is more likely than the other.
