I assume they can’t air the Stardom match since a different network has their streaming rights.

That seems to be the speculation from Meltzer and others.

Meltzer even mentioned in last week's Observer Newsletter that if NJPW were to ever leave their current tv network, they'd lose the rights to most of the footage on New Japan World since the current tv network owns it due to how the laws work over there.
