i really wish these were on disc instead of 1 game + 2 downloads. i still think im going to get them but im considering not. in 20 years when the consoles battery fails I'll lose the games...so whats the point...

Oh the C-Bomb/CMOS battery thing? That was resolved with update 9.00 on PS4 a while back, and they JUST fixed it like a week or 2 ago for PS5. Pretty sure, and somewhat understandably so, the only console Sony hasn't fixed it on is PS3. Which sucks, just like that thing's architecture...kind of a shame too, because that aside it really was a pretty decent bit of hardware. But yeah, I get it, they're a business, etc.

Just seems like they patched PS4 and PS5 more for PR reasons and to avoid potential future lawsuits, however frivolous or not they would have been. Not also fixing the PS3 does make me wonder if they actually do care at this point in time about preserving video game history. Sad to say, I still think the answer is no.
