I watched Leia's message to Obi-Wan last night, and there is arguably a BIT of wiggle room in what she says. You'd think she'd be like "Wurd, remember the time you saved me from the Inquisitors and all that shit?" but she also never says they've never met. More just reminding him how he helped her dad years ago, and she needs his help now.

its heavy retcon. its not worth defending it. same with "last we met i was but a student. now i am the master." the show doesnt give two shits about continuity. and fair enough. just take it for what it is. the mental gymnastics needed to make this show work could burst your brain
