How come Punk is still friends with Samoa Joe then? Joe had the exact same job Regal did. Joe worked with/for the exact same guy Regal did. Just another example of Punk having no self awareness or understanding of what hypocrisy is.

They’re different people. It’s similar work but it doesn’t mean they went about it the same way. Punk has had friends and peers that went through developmental/dealt with them. He could be taking up for a buddy.

We also don’t know for sure Punk and Joe are still friends, or whether Punk just has professional respect for the guy.

It’s not like Punk went behind Regal’s back and made passive aggressive videos on YouTube about it (which The Elite are still doing). He apparently went right up to him and told him. We don’t know he was disqualifying Regal’s on-screen credentials.
