This movie put EVERY other Batman movie to shame. Even the Tim Burton ones, and I was a huge fan of those. It just really brought out the "badass" Batman that fans of the franchise have been waiting for.

I loved this movie, possibly tying with X2 as my favourite comic book movie done. It definately had the psychological feel to it, which Nolan is known for. I really did enjoy the training scenes and fight scenes, but would have liked to have seen more of the fights.

Perhaps this movie could have picked up alittle more time it could have extended the fight scenes. However, I really enjoyed this movie as it is and was definately better than the 1st, although I enjoyed the Burton's Batman as well.

Christian Baile, Liam Niesan, Cicilian Murphy, Micheal Caine, Morgan Freeman, that Liutinent Gordon guy and Ken Watanabe were all perfectly casted. I'm going to have to by this on DVD.

my rating, 9.2/10.

It was pretty good. I hate "quick cut" fighting that seems so popular now and days... seriously, I like to see what the fuck is going on. I mean i'd expect that from Michael Bay, but not Christopher Nolan.

I really really liked it. Batman is at a tie for Daredevil for my favorite superhero. I did a lot of reading about Batman before going into it, so the movie made me very happy.

Batman Begins is the only Batman movie I need now. It's an absolutely amazing film that deserves all the praise it's getting. It now makes Burton's Batman look even worse, which is really not that good of a film when you look at it. It's slow, not enough Batman, and The Joker gets way to much screentime(and don't get me started on Nicholson's shitty Joker, either).

And thank you Burton and Batman 89 for convincing a legion of people that The Joker killed Batman's parents, good job.

Haha, tell me about it. One guy I talked to who loves comics but doesn't read Batman said he loved Begins except that "they changed the Joker killing Bruce's parents. That's what MAKES him Batman and connects Joker and Bruce." I was like WTFFFF

Hey, I agree that Batman Begins is an awesome movie, but don't demean the greatness that is the first Batman movie. The Batman scenes are great and there are plenty of them - how can you say the first Batman didn't have enough Batman in it when Batman Begins goes over an hour before Batman even shows up? And Jack Nicholson's Joker was fucking amazing.

But in that hour we saw Bruce Wayne learn to become Batman, we got to see actual development of the Bruce Wayne/Batman character something the other series of movies lacked.

As someone has already said, it was interesting in Begins because we see Bruce develop. We get to see why he takes the suit. In Batman 89, all we're seeing is a bunch of Joker scenes with Bruce sprinkled over it. You can change the title of Batman 89 to The Joker and I couldn't tell the difference. Not the way to do a comic book movie.

And Nicholson's Joker is not amazing, it sucks ass. It's just Jack Nicholson being Jack Nicholson.

Yeah, apparently they're not happy with the Tom Cruise publicity she's getting.

Oh well, just use her unseen death as a way of getting Batman personal with The Joker. He'd go from "I'll look into it." to "I need to get this guy.", which is an awesome transformation in my book.

Sean Penn!?? WTF!? Yeah, I guess he has the same jawline, but I can't see him pulling off a good Joker at all. Yeah I know how was Spicoli but that was a long long time ago, before he became a tool bag of sorts. Crispin Glover is perfect.

Yeah I had no idea that the Joker didn't kill Wayne's parents and I haven't seen Batman Begins and don't read the comics so it's simple common sense that people are just going to assume that the Joker did it.

There's always artistic licencing taken with comic book movies. Even in this one - in the comics Ra'as Al Ghul is an eco-terrorist, and he sure as hell didn't train Batman. But the 'Joker killed his parents' one was a bit much, really.

I hear Mark Hamel aka Luke Skywalker is being considered for the Joker role in the sequel. I thought Batman Begins was quite good but Ken Watabee was not much of a factor in the movie. He should have had a bigger role.....

Sorry for the bump, but I just saw this movie today. I loved it to death, easily my fave comic book movie along with Sin City and X2.

Cillian Murphy was EXCELLENT. I loved how he played a calm and suave Johnathan Crane. I wished they would have made Scarecrow a little more... Scarecrowish though, that irked me. As long as he'll be back in the next movie, I'll be happy.

I mean, Joker and Scarecrow? C'mon, that's gold.

Also, ROFL @ Scarecrow setting Batman on fire and Rachel tazering Scarecrow in the face. LOL
