Ben didn't show up in the desert until October of 2005. That's nearly a year after they move the island. Unless Ben is stuck in space for nearly 10 months, this didn't happen as a result of him moving the island. That's not saying it couldn't be a side effect of it though.

Hmm I didn't realise that it was a year later when Ben wakes up. I'm probably going to say that he went forward in time as a result of it. That's based on that he looked exactly the same as he did when he turned the wheel and he had the same cut on his arm.

Also on a side note, no one happens to know where I can get the amazing orchestral track that played during at least part one of the finale. It was towards the end when Ben walked into the Orchid and gave himself up, Kate & Sayid were being led through the jungle by the others and Sun was running out onto the deck of the frighter.

So glad Desmond and Penny were reunited, I think everyone who watches the show worldwide woulda spazzed out completely and rioted if Desmond had been whacked.

As far as Locke in the coffin...hmm, given his comments to Hurley etc can we assume that Sayid knows atleast part of whats going on one way or the other?

agreed. I just hope Desmond isnt an afterthought next season. He is the most intriguing character to me.

I think Sayid does have some idea of what is going on.

I think Desmond will remain a part of things, he's far too central to the whole plot what with him being the one who brought the plane down, not to mention his Widmore connections and stuff. Also aside from Walt thus far I can't remember a central character leaving the the plot without being killed off, leaving Desmond out of the loop after the way he was introduced in seasons 3 and 4 would be pretty awful.

I actually like the way they reintroduced walt with hurley years later after he got back to accomodate for the actor aging in real life

Yeah, I mean I doubt Walt is out for good, but he's largely remained out of the story since he and Michael left on the boat at the start of season 3, it'd be a pretty huge loose end if they left his part in the story unresolved.

I've watched season 1 and 2. I'm currently watching season 3. I just got finished with the parts where Sawyer fucked Freckles and they escaped the island and Hugo found a van and started it.

I love Desomnd. He's one of my favorites. Sawyer is awesome. I really like the complexity of Jack. The flash backs for Jack in seasons 1 and 2 were some amazing television tbh. I kept expecting his dad to be the one fucking his wife. I still expect some flashback involving his wife somehow. I also thought that ( mind you i'm still watching season 3) in the episode where jack's wife bails him out of jail after he beat his dad up, the boyfriend that was waiting by the car, looked like the guy that Anna Lucia through in the pit because she expected him to be one of The Others. Probably just seeing things, but it be a intresting tie in, to go along with all the other charachters being tied together in someway other then just being on the plane.

I was pissed that we never found out about Liz being in the psyche ward with Hugo. But i've speculated that at the end of this series, this all might be in Hugo's mind and in real life he's just so drugged up and hallucinating this shit. Which would make that episode where he almost killed himself, extremely pivitol, because it was basically hinting towards what this whole series is for. But, its highly unlikely and i think the makers of the show already said that wont be how it ends.

Love the show though. Started watching cause i read this thread. Not sure its better then 24, but its close.

I did it that way too, watched season 1 on the telly but then lost touch with it all when it went to sky here and watched seasons 2 and 3 in the space of like 2 weeks earlier in the year before 4 started.

And Rose and Bernard are still on the island, just not featured a lot towards the end. The last thing of significance I remember either of them doing is Bernard knocking out Jack during his 'surgery'

Dan was only on lik ehis second run when the island "moved" wasn't he? He was taking 5-6 per journey. That means he only got 5/6 to the boat and had another 5/6 with him.

The very ending was predictable. They gave a few hints at the beginning of the season that told me it'd be that person.

I dont normally like lovey dovey bs, but the way they did Desmond and Pennys story line in this series, had me high fiving my self when they finally reunited back together. I was so happy. I wonder if Desmond is one of the ones that has to go back. Obviously with the Wittmore vs Ben deal, Penny isnt out of the picture cause Ben wants to off her. I cant imagine season 5 without Desmond. Also, Jin could have jumped off the boat knowing its gunna blow so i'm not worried about him. Sun looks like she might go full on badass in the next couple of seasons. Cant wait for that. WHAT THE FUCK HAPPEND TO FARADAY AND THE OTHER PEEPS THAT DIDNT GET CAMERA TIME! That'll need some explaining. I'm a little dissapointed that Liz being in the same psyche ward as Hugo wasnt explained. I look forward to Charlottes flash back. Seeing is though Miles said she CAME BACK to the island. And the dark haired other who never ages, we need to find out more about this guy. I'm betting he's Jacob. One thing that really bothers me is how Michael was kinda made to be a bad guy and not trustworthy. I kinda emphasized with his charachter. I hate the fact that he got killed.

The 2 LOL moments of the series. 1) Arturo ( ROFL ) and 2) 40 year old Walt.
