Don't know if this is already posted put this is from OWW.com
November 13, 2005: Eddie Guerrero tragically passed away at the age of 38 as a result of reported Heart Failure [Eddie RIP FanJam].. ~~~Eddie Guerrero arrived in Minneapolis for the scheduled combined RAW/SD! Television tapings at the Target Center.. ~~~Eddie Guerrero was staying at the Marriott City Center hotel in downtown Minneapolis.. ~~~Eddie Guerrero got an early wake-up call just after 7 a.m. and he didn't answer.. ~~~Chavo Guerrero tried calling the room and also got no answer. The two had been traveling together.. ~~~Several people knocked on his door after numerous attemped calls went unanswered.. ~~~Security was then called and they got inside and found Eddie dead on the bathroom floor.. |

OK, I just thought of everything that's being said about Eddie's Death and there is one this that's confusing me. This is it.
Chavo said that, Eddie, himself and another wrestler had breakfast, then Eddie went to his room after it, but he also said that Eddie missed his 7am wake up call, but how could he have missed it if he already had his breakfast? Surely, if you were having or had your breakfast, you wouldn't need a wake up call and cancel it because you would already be awake. So that's whats confusing me. ![]() |

^^ Actually, that occurred to me as well. I'm thinking maybe they meant dinner the night before, or some sort of midnight breakfast.
Chavo might have been shaken up so much that he got his facts skewed. Does anyone know if they're packaging Eddie's DVD with his "Scarface" shirt? That'd be a great deal, especially if proceeds were sent to his family. |

You Will Be Missed...
...
It's such a shame, to hear this news, whether it was heel or face, Eddie played the part brilliantly, I heard he was a great person outsode of the ring too, I tryed to watch some tapes of his matches at wrestlemania, and just seeing his entrance, makes me stop the tape and not bother, it's very hard to watch a man entering the arena in a lowrider with a big smile on his face without thinking that he was never aware at this time he would be dead. It's hard to see someone so alive be so dead, I was a great fan of eddie as a face, he brought charisma and happiness to his match, and looked genuinley looked happy to be entertaining the fans in the way that he did, it was his dream to wrestle, it it's such a shame to take that dream away from him in a hotel room somewhere with no warning. The pinnacle of Eddies career was when he hit the big time and got the title and was face, and as much as it pains me to say, Eddie faded away, it's a shame he didn't get one last energy fuelled pop before he left us. Thank you Eddie for making me dislike you and making me adore you. Thanks for showing that you dont have to be big to get the gold And I thank you for entertaining us, Eddie, you put the E in WWE Ladies And Gentlemen, Eddie Guerrero... ![]() |

Soon I was going to make my top ten stories of 2005 with the intent of putting ECW reunion shows as the number 1 story but now I think the tragic passing of Eddie has to be number 1.

I only just found out about this today when sky sports news reported it, wish they would do a bigger report than just a vince mcmahon statement.I still can't believe it, Eddie was my favourite wrestler.I have to watch raw live tonight even though ive got the hospital tomorrow, doubt i'll be able to sleep knowing that a tribute to Eddie is on.I was hoping he would become the World heavyweight champion soon and was really liking his current storyline,it's fitting that he won in his last match in classic Eddie Guerrero style.
RIP Eddie. |

Impossible to do. That picture, coupled with that music... I've been in shock the past few hours like many of you have, naturally. I didn't know Eddie personally, only what I saw in his performances and from his DVD and such. All I really know now is that the world has lost one great competitor and one great human being. I couldn't say anything that hasn't already been spoken of in this thread, honestly. The thing that gets me most is that he was clean at the time. He was clean and sober for ages, only to pass on at a time when he was doing GREAT. The sky was the limit for him, and what happens? He gets taken from the fans, and more importantly, his family and friends. I can't imagine what it would be like for his wife, since I'm not married and I have no romantic attraction to anyone. But I can sympathize deeply with his children...If everyone could think of what it would be like to lose their father, and ESPECIALLY at such a young age for the children and Eddie both. It's heartbreaking. Someone else said it best. I'd like to think that Eddie knew that he would win the belt at the tapings. In that aspect, and in MANY, MANY others, that man went out as a winner, plain and simple. In many ways, Eddie is far better off than the rest of us now. He won't have to listen to his "critics" badmouthing him anymore (although if someone DOES at this time, it's sickening), and I'd like to believe that he lived a good life with a few bumps in the road. May God bless you and your children, Eddie. You will be missed horribly. Rest in peace to a true legend. |

This case is much similar to Road Warrior Hawk's.

In the night sky there is always one star
One star that outhines them all One star that is brightest It illuminates such radiancy You can't help but notice it But once that star is gone You know it You feel it You miss it Knowing it won't be back. You wish it wasn't gone You wish it was still there One more time Just to see it one more time Once more. The memory will never be forgotten Will always be remembered In our eyes In our minds In our hearts Eddie was that star Taken away in his prime Although he is not with us He will always be remembered Never forgotten May you rest in peace For your memory Your legacy Will never die But will always live on. Goodbye Eddie. |

I can't really explain why, but I never liked Eddie when he was with WCW. Over the years I have really learned to enjoy his wrestling talent and i became a big fan. I am going to miss him. God Bless.

Was pretty down today. I wore a black arm band today, in tribute to Eddie. I can't believe he's gone, I woke up this morning and imagined it was all one big dream.

This was taken from Jimmy Jacobs journal
A total "what the fuck" kinda day. I hate doing updates like this. But fuck. I checked my voicemail around noon and got a message from a buddy saying Eddie Guerrero died. I'm not going to pretend we were best friends, but I was fortuante enough to be around him and work with him once. First time I met Eddie in August of 2003 at a Smackdown show in Detroit. Alex Shelley, Chris Hero and I were there working out in the ring before the show. Eddie stopped and took the time to watch us all wrestle, then to come up to us afterwards and compliment us. Then in May of this year, I worked with him in Reading, PA. I can probably say working on WWE Smackdown with him was one of the best experiences in my life. The thing I thought was really cool about him, which I also thought was really cool about Chris Candido (God rest his soul too), was that for a guy who has been there and done that, for a man who has main evented Wrestlemania as the world heavyweight champion, he treated me as an equal. I was a 21 year old kid just happy to be getting work, and he acted as though I were on par with him. Just to show you my experience with this, not to totally kill the business, but that day when I found out I was working with Eddie, I went up to him and said "Hi. I'm Jimmy. I think we're working together tonight." The first thing Eddie did was apologize. "Jimmy. I want to apologize for the match. I would love to have a competitive match with you, but tonight this match needs to be %100 me. Please understand this is just business. I'm truly sorry, and I want to thank you for your professionalism. God willing, we'll work again under better circumstances." It really struck me that he would do that. I mean, seriously. I was happy just to have work, just to be getting paid, just to be on the show, just to be working for WWE, just to be in the ring with him, yet he was apologizing to me. As the day went on, almost every time we talked, he apologized, thanked me, and was almost trying to sell me on the fact that it'd be ok to get squashed by him, as if I was doing him a favor. Before the match, one of the agents for our match came up to me and said, "Jimmy, now, you know this is going to be a stiff match, right?" I said "Sure." But Eddie never touched me. Even on the finish when he gave me the brainbuster on the chair, he took total care of me. So, there's my story of my experience with him. ![]() |

I just want to add some other things.
I had the pleasure of being able to watch Eddie's final match live. And it will be something that will live with me forever. My final images of Eddie are of him smiling and doing his customary "Eddie Shimmie" dance while he was selling Ken kennedy's chair shot. Eddie is someone that I looked up to, now I'm not saying he was my favorite wrestler of all time. He was one of my favorites at the present time...but I looked up to him because of what he overcame. I look at Eddie and what he's been through and I see a bit of me. Granted I never had an alcohol problem, but I've had my own personal problems that I am trying to overcome. And hearing Eddie's story makes me feel better and gives me hope. Being a fan of pro wrestling all of my life, I never found an emotional attachment to anyone in particular. Granted I love Ric Flair, my favorite all time, but I never found an emotional attachment to him. The only two wrestlers I've ever attached myself to emotionally are Rey Mysterio Jr. and...Eddie Guerrero. Rey is because of his size, although I'm a shade taller than him...he is proof that you don't need to be Hulk Hogan's size to be successful. And with Eddie...it's his ability to overcome his problems and become a bigger and better person because of it. Throughout tonight's Raw, I was teary eyed...I never broke down, but it was a constant two hour eye watery ride. I never did this for any other wrestler who passed on over the years...I don't know when I'll cry over a wrestler again...hopefully not for a while. Yet, Eddie is worth my tears. To finish, I want to be the type of human being Eddie Guerrero was. |

I still can't believe it I jus got home from work, turned on RAW, and then I seen Cena wearing an Eddy shirt, and the commentators talking about what he meant. I was like 'oh no..tell me their fucking around'.
It's a damn shame , he's left us too early, he was one of the best all around, and I don't know what the cause of death is , but for now that is irrelevant, just the fact that he's gone is a travesty. I missed RAW hope I can catch a replay, but i will defeniatley buy his dvd... R.I.P Eddie VIVA LA RAZA CABRON |
