That's from nba.com by the way. I thought it shoulda been Baron Davis over Roy, but you could go either way. Maybe Calderon over Johnson or Rip?

WTF, somebody is hiding David Stern's balls up their ass. How does that make sense for the Grizzlies at all? Kwame sucks ass, they dont need another PG, and the 2 picks are porobably going to be in the high teens to mid 20s Stern probably promised them the #1 pick for giving the Lakers their best player.

Gasol is over rated.

He is solid, but not spectacular. I think he is a great fit in LA though. Just what they needed.

The Pick is not that lopsided.

Grizzlies get a young (ast year first rounder) PG so they can live without Stoudemire, they get Kwame's expiring contract so that they have 10+ million in cap space to sign a FA, and they get 2 additional picks (Picks are fast becoming much more valuable in the NBA) to use as potential trade bait. Pau wanted out, and they got what they needed.

Yeah, COnley Starts, Damon backs him up....now they have a sufficent backup platoon in Critteron/Lowry (who is a FA I believe) so they can part ways with Damon as they have been wanting to but unable because they didnt want to leave it all on Conley.

Lakers now have a real shot to go to the finals when Bynum comes back. Great trade for them..Gasol wasn't staying in Memphis so at least they get something out of it. Other teams are probably kicking themselves for not offering something to them now though.

well, i dont think anything will ever honestly make up for trading Caron for Kwame...but this will be good enough. Although i was hoping to see was Crit could become while wearing purple and gold. Ill agree though, lopsided trade that didnt seem to benefit the Griz other than cap space. They'll prolly use one of their up and coming PG for another trade.

Nah..they should keep Miller ..along with Gay that's a nice scoring combo. They have Conley at the point and they will have a top 3 pick this year, they have the talent to chellenge anyone ..IF THEY WERE IN THE EAST.
