Don't think its been mentioned before but the Season Pass has gone up in price from last year's $12 to now a $20 price tag.

I think I is as that's what is was called in HCTP, I also think that Flapjack/Cutter is the 3D as that is what it is(D-Von with the Flapjack and Bubba Ray with the Cutter).

Planning a huge story involving RYBACK where he is more or less the WWE version of Majin Buu. He'll work his way up the roster starting with the lowest jobber and eventually past all the main event guys. To make it more DBZ style after he beats someone, he will consume them somehow and that wrestler will vanish from the game until there is nobody left but divas. Then of course he'll face the legends and consume them too before facing Taker at WM and ending the streak and consuming him. It'll end with RYBACK as the ultimate champion of the WWE with every title until Kharma defeats him with a Spirit Bomb and frees the WWE.

If you are to pull this off, you should have him start out as Skip Sheffield from NXT as Goofy Buu, then he gets super pissed and becomes Nexus Skip Sheffield aka Evil Majin Buu, then down the line after consuming say Triple H or Del Rio or Barrett, it 'transforms' him into the final form of Ryback (representing Kid Buu).

Then you remember you can't have Divas wrestling male opponents, so you'll substitute Kharma for Mark Henry in a corset/dress combo and a wig.

I'd love to make one of those 'overpriced DLC is destroying games' posts, but, I can't be arsed.

I'll wait for WWE 13 to drop to half price, which won't take long, to make up the fact I'll be paying a lot more money to get the DLC season pass. At least THQ are doing a good job keeping the roster more up to date.

I just realized I can have Cena portray Goku in my story. RYBACK can beat regular PG era Cena, but Cena escapes and then "goes SSJ" and turns into the Dr. of Thuganomics. He still loses, but it gives us something different. Hell, I could do the same with HHH, except he'd clearly be Vegeta. Blue Blood--> Triple H--> DX HHH.

I like your Cena idea so far, but after the initial part you talk about, have you given it much thought as to how you'll flesh out something more, because it sounds very promising...

Delayed vertical suplex bodyslam is most likely the Jackhammer. Which along with the 3D, Lionsault and springboard dropkick, we've had regularly before... But can't complain tbh. There's a lot of great stuff both in game and DLC this year.

I don't think it is. wiki describes the Hellevator as a "vertical suplex side slam" (note nothing about the move being delayed at all in the description), whereas the Jackhammer is described as a "delayed vertical suplex powerslam pin", which, at least in my estimation sounds a lot more like the delayed bodyslam move.

What's the move called where you'd do a suplex motion but you'd turn it into a kind of neckbreaker, with your opponents neck resting on your shoulder, while you held his legs. You'd then jump and land on your butt but damaging the opponent. It was in Wrestlemania 2000/No Mercy, I think, and a bunch of Smackdown games but then they removed it.
Hoping they add that again as it was the finisher of a regular character of mine.

Do think it's setting a dangerous precedent, if I'm going to be honest. Depending on how much success they have with people buying each pack will probably dictate what DLC we'll see in WWE '14. We're used to paying for new wrestlers and alternative appearances, but moves and titles that get unlocked with DLC... what comes next year? Locked arenas? Themes and titantrons?

Wouldn't be that different from other companies who do similar things with their DLC over time especially since THQ really needs the money.

I don't mind buying the axxess pack if the quality/quantity of DLC is worth it but i'd rather have talent that hasn't been in a game for years then another Cena in a differnt coloured shirt. I'd love them to release the previous years DLC as a giant pack, they download at least unlike the CAWs more often than not.

Need to see these moves. If they're not re-animated, I will never buy the game new or touch the DLC. Can't support the arbitrary removing of moves just because THQ are almost bankrupt.

If they go bust, I'd love to see someone else give it a stab anyway.

Got an email the other day to say I won a competition I entered, to hold a 'WWE 13 party' with 9 or more friends. They're giving me a complementary copy of the game a week and a half early so I can hold the party a week before release!

They're sending me a box with the game, posters, superstar masks, cheap titles etc. the only condition is that I take a shitload of pictures of the 'party' and email them so they can put them on their website. 500 people in the UK got chosen.

Free advertising for them, free game for me.
