Ugh.
I was never one who said he'll return in Chicago. Before Monday night, I was convinced that the absolute EARLIEST he would be back was Summerslam, but was more looking at next year's Rumble realistically. If there is a chance he comes back before then, Mania is the only logical place BASED ON THE PAUL HEYMAN PROMO. It was clearly done to write him in to something should he come back. I still feel it wasn't a work from the start, but eventually, it will turn into one and it started on Monday with Heyman. I believe now that despite what the "dirtsheet writers" are saying, that 70/30 he will return at Mania, not for a match, but for an appearance. I could be wrong, but WWE brass would NEVER break their rule of catering to an audience quite like they did on Monday. At least, I have hard time believing they would.

People are putting a lot of stock in that Heyman promo. My take, they had to address the "elephant in the room" as they were in Chicago and knew that the fans wouldn't let up, and that's how they did it. By no means does it point to them bringing him back at Mania.

It's almost like saying that Hogan, Brock and Rock were all gonna come back and work programmes with Punk after he mentioned them in his original Pipebomb promo.

Wait.

Rock did come back and work a programme with Punk, as did Brock, and now Hogan is back!!

This can only mean one thing; Hogan vs. Punk.

Expect that to be Hogan's big announcement on Monday.

I just need to reiterate how good that Shield/Wyatts match was.

Also, I think Rollins was just trying to show the other two how destructive their behavior has been. I didn't see it as him abandoning the group.
