If I could give him an 8.5, I would. Became white hot in WCW for a while and for about a month on WWE TV, always been more than capable of slopiness in ring though and for a lot of his initial WWE run he was stale character wise (his hammy promos used to drive me mental) Since returning he's been world class however but that represents a very small portion of his overall career (and if he keeps up the same act for the next 12 months or so, that might get old too) One of the guys I definitely feel the internet overrates far too often.

I don't dislike him though, far from it. When he's 'on' (which has been more often than not over the last few years) he's one of the very best on Earth. He was 50% of my favourite match of the last 5 years or so and I am very much a fan of his. He's just not HBK (10) Flair, Hogan (cry about it children), Bret, Austin etc (9) I'd put him on that next rung, a very very capable guy that was never truly a 'superstar'. 8.
