And, for people who agree with Bischoff, this is relevant to WWE, but not TNA. TNA needs the IWC to keep afloat.

The problem I have with what Bischoff is saying is that it seems like he's saying the IWC (10% as he claims) is shitting on the product, while the majority of people like it.
The issue it's clearly not IWC = dislike, everyone else = like. Hate to break it to ya Eric, but there's going to be people in that other 90% who don't like you're product. Just because they're not vocal about it on the internet doesn't mean you're doing well. There's going to be a portion of that 90% that is going to have a lot of the same complaints that your 10% IWC has. A bit off topic, but Cena is a perfect case in point. In theory, the IWC hates Cena (the character/push, not the person) and they are vocal about it. However, watch Raw, and there is a LARGE amount of anti-Cena chants. That's not all the IWC, that's also casual fans who don't care enough to go online and bitch about it. Ultimately, he'd be a lot smarter to treat the IWC as somewhat of a cross section of the general audience, and recognizing that a certain amount of your audience is going to be in line with them. Never assume the IWC and your "general fans" are polar opposites. |

Bisch never said that TNA is doing the right things / appealing to the masses, just that you can't go out of your way to appease the minorities, that is all. (addressing a lot of posts here)

This is not on topic, but I was listening to the Kevin & Bean show here on KROQ in Los Angeles, and they brought up the story on the Chyna and TNA 'dispute' if you will.
One of the radio dudes said "What the hell is TNA wrestling?" and the other guy said "It must be an all woman wrestling company. You know, TNA." I don't know, I thought that was funny. |

This isn't really him making a point about the wrestling audience, this is Bischoff being a bitch because some guys on the internet don't like TNA and are vocal about it. In other words; he's a tool

Seriously, as much as they don't want to call themselves "Wrestling," no matter how they try to rebrand it, rename it, whatever, it's still fucking Wrestling to the same fans that they cater to. In the words of Jim Cornette: "No one says they're going to the Sports Entertainment event." |

Eric Bischoff has got a point, but I wouldn't be bragging about ratings and PPV buys with TNA going the way it is.

90 percent of what? The 200 people watching Impact Wrestling for free? The other 10 percent are getting kicked out for releasing spoilers to websites.
Bischoff has a loose grip on reality. If Hogan didn't go to TNA Eric Bischoff wouldn't have got a job there. That is irrelevant. |

If, with the arrival of Bischoff and Hulk fucking Hogan (you know, the biggest star professional wrestling has ever known), there was some sort of continual growth -- I would lend more weight to Bischoff's words. But as it stands, TNA is not really doing anything with all the tools in the world. We are like 18 months into the Hogan-Bischoff regime, and there's been such little growth. They did get their highest rating since that big January 4 show (I think) lately, but it dropped back down the next week.
Also, I was reading an article on PPV buys, that essentially compared the percentages of the television audience that buys WWE and TNA's respective PPVs. TNA is under-performing greatly. Comparatively to the WWE, anyway. A ridiculously small amount of TNA's audience actually forks out cash for the product. While the WWE's buys are dropping, given that there is an over-saturation of PPVs, and considering the amount the WWE charges for them -- the WWE is still getting something like 13 times the PPV buys that TNA are getting. So, while Eric can go on about television ratings -- if TNA is sitting at a 1.1 every week (it's something like that, isn't it?), if the WWE had the same percentage of people buying their PPV product, their rating would be something like 14.3. Now, I guess TNA and the WWE might have different emphasis on PPV importance and such, and it's unfair to directly compare the two -- but the point is -- Eric, about 1.1 people watch your show -- and about 15,000 are reported to buy TNA PPVs (and that's being generous). You're certainly pleasing your audience, aren't you? |

We as a group are irrelevant to Bisch and TNA because for the most part we don't pay for the product.
The "IWC" know where to go to find a stream. TNA don't make a dime from most of the "IWC". We are not the "paying public" so really we don't have a right to complain. At least as far as Eric/TNA are concerned. |

Eric Bischoff biggest Douche in prowrestling?
Off the front page.....
When asked via Twitter why he insults the hardcore wrestling fanbase, Eric Bischoff responded with the following statement… “Because I can!” So I've been reading alot of stuff about him recently and this guy just honestly strikes me as a complete and total ass. He seems to legitimatly not give a crap about the business or the fans and just wants his fame and money. Anyway just wanted to ask do any of you feel the same way? Do you think the wrestling world would be a better place without Bischoff? Use this thread to discuss this and any other Bischoff related news. |

No, I do not feel Eric Bischoff is the biggest douche in pro wrestling. And no, I do not feel the wrestling business would be a better place without him. I would like to see him somewhere he can be utilized properly/somewhere that isn't TNA in it's current form.

I disagree with you on the second part Cock Sucking Lips. While Eric is probably not the biggest douche in Wrestling, he is up there. The biggest is probably Vince McMahon, honestly, he has fucked over so many people and due to his size and power he has probably raped them.
I do think that Wrestling would better off if Bischoff would just stick to his reality TV exploits and move on. He has no concept of what it will take to evolve the business in a way that provides growth years down the line. He is an asset to TNA as a character but behind the scenes he seems like true cocksucker that has made many poor choices based on other peoples opinions. This is why Vince McMahon may be the biggest douche in pro wrestling, but he is a necessity to pro wrestling, he created the business and the only thing he has to adapt to is the time because nobody else has figured out a way to do it better. Eric Bischoff, you can fuck off for all I care, I'd love to fight you and give you a chick kick to the teeth. |

Even if this is a work I still have heard many many things about him in rumor sheets and such and I just get a vibe from him every time I see him that he's just a dick. Either way he probably is just trying to get attention, but I think he's getting the wrong kind as I don't think the 'average' TNA fan is smart enough to realise that he's working them and I could see a lot of them actually stop watching over something like this especially after reading some of the tweets he's gotten from angry fans.

I'm not sure if that's true I think it's just something he uses to generate heat or make an ass of himself while on tv. I could be wrong thow..... but hell if someone's that set on fighting him just take a tireiron and nail him in the back of the dome in the parkinglot black belt or no if you get your skull cracked open your not getting back up.
