With who? Angle, The Hardys and the guys I mentioned on that card above? They're the biggest free agents in the world right now.

I was trying to say that the smart fans would love that card you proposed, but the average WWE fan today would not tune in as they would only recognize the names of Kurt Angle & The Hardy's..... If a lot of regular fans do not watch WWE's own "minor promotion" of NXT, then I doubt they'd watch another "minor promotion" show that isn't WWE.....

I get what you're saying, but what is ROH going to do if not put on a super-indy show, you know? They can't just click their fingers and sign John Cena and Randy Orton.

Probably not a good idea to try to get Hogan back especially if it happens while they try to get a new tv deal.

Quote:
Carter connected with Hogan after his racist comments were leaked this summer.

“I have reached out to Hulk and we’re still friends,” continued Carter. “From my perspective, I have never witnessed anything but the polar opposite [in terms of racism].”

As for a potential return, Carter added, “In wrestling, you never say never.”
Sounds like a ridiculous thing to do but they have done something similar when Spike gave them an extension. Ended up pissing Spike off when they discovered TNA was lying about Russo's involvement and hurt whatever help was left that Spike was still willing to give.

If TNA going under is the only way to get Kurt fucking Angle vs. Daniel fucking Bryan at WM before Kurt hangs 'em up for good, so be it.

In truth though, I never like to see people out of work but most of the people on that roster won't have trouble getting employment elsewhere. ROH, GFW, Japan, hell even NXT could be beefed up.

I think many of them need to just hope GFW can get their shit together and be a consistent company. I can't see guys like EC3, Abyss and the like getting steady work in Japan, ROH or NXT. They don't fit the style. (Abyss is still in TNA, right?)

Know why he didn't lose? The cheating fuck taped every show and would meticulously play back the spins frame-by-frame. He won $110,237 in a 2-part episode which I believe was originally aired as a Friday/Monday 2 ep. show.

Karma came back and bit him in the ass though...he ended up investing in a bad land deal, and ended up having another chunk of it stolen because apparently he didn't deposit his winnings in the bank.

Well, if it wasn't for the grossly naive nature of the Press Your Luck production staff, then he wouldn'tve left Studio 33 with what equates to $252,851.21 in today's money.

That was all the Carruthers Company's and CBS's fault for thinking the code couldn't be cracked. Then along came Michael to make them look like novice builders on a construction site.

And, to be honest, when I heard this story the first time, I applauded Michael for doing what he did, cause Press Your Luck became a better show out of it. The network prize cap went up, and more money was being won.

Simple as that.

A lot of them do seem like they'd be out of place in many of those promotions. Even a guy like Bobby Roode doesn't seem like a fit for ROH. New Japan seems closer, but they're not hurting for talent at the moment. Oddly enough, I think the WWE would suit him more.

Ethan Carter III should go back to WWE solely to reprise the planned Mr. USA gimmick, where he would have stood on the ramp triumphantly as pyro goes off right before commercial and then it'd come back from the break and he'd still be standing there with music and pyro still going.

EC3 is awesome. TNA has booked him so good, and he plays that character great. He would work in GFW because he could still use the EC3 name and play off the Carters and Jarretts history. As for Roode he could go anywhere really. How can you say a legit world champion caliber talent wouldn't fit ROH. He could show up at a PPV and be headlining the next. The only reason I wouldn't want him in NXT is a name change. If he signed a deal like Joe and kept his name I'd be fine with that. Best thing though would be for TNA to get their shit together and find a network that actually wants them.

I don't think his ring style would mesh well with what ROH are trying to achieve. He might prove me wrong, but I think they're fine with Michael Bennett working the company. He also comes with Maria.

I think that's what people have been calling for TNA to do for years, but they pissed away the deal with Spike and now no one really wants them. I actually have no clue where they go from here. I've heard suggestions that Dixie Carter has bought out Jeff Jarrett's stock so that she can sell the company whole to someone. At this point, I think the Carters do need to stay the fuck away from TNA forever. I'd drop the idea of running a two-hour show. Stick to one hour, have simpler, less sports entertainy, more focused storylines. Re-establish your titles as the focus-point of the company. Square one with these guys.

TNA has announced that Gail Kim will defend the Knockout's Title against Awesome Kong at Bound For Glory. This is the right move. Bobby Lashley is challenging Bobby Roode for the King of the Mountain Title. I'm not even sure what that title's about now. Is it defended in King of the Mountain matches? Is it just their secondary title? Why are Roode and Lashley fighting over what is essentially the IC Title? Why are they even feuding? Aren't they both faces?

Ethan Carter III is defending the World Heavyweight Title against Drew Galloway. I like both guys, but this is basically Derrick Bateman vs. Drew McIntyre. By all accounts, EC3 is a great heel, but I have a feeling that Jeff Hardy will turn on him (why is Jeff Hardy playing a slave in North Carolina?) and Galloway will win the title. It's a shame it no longer counts as a World Title.

If Matt lost to EC3, Jeff had to be Ethan's personal assistant. The King of the Mountain title is the Legends/Global/Television title. It was won by Jarrett in a KotM match and he vacated it and PJ Black won it in a KotM match and then lost it to Roode in a regular match. As for Roode being a face he is a tweener and him and Lashly have history.

TNA recently lost 2 more markets in terms of international deals. UK and Italy might be their last 2 big markets in Europe left. They have a few others left in Europe but those two might be their biggest in terms of ratings and fan support.

Any market associated with Discovery Network has been slowly getting dropped.
