I am very disapointed to say the least, there was Kane who they built like the monster he should be, nothing, Angle all this work, nothing, shit even HBK I would have brought but the black hole of talent that is Edge.

The guy hasnt got a laugh, or anything other than X-Pac heat from me since coming to Raw. I change the channel every time he appears, I guess the Raw Main event is no longer my time to watch.

Okay, but who can Edge face in a TLC for the WWE title?

Helms might be able to pull off a few high spots, but Helms going for the title? Yeah right.

Kurt VS Edge would be pretty badass, but the only problem is I really don't see Kurt as the TLCish kinda wrestler. I'm sure he could pull off a decent TLC match anyways.

HBK... The man who made the ladder match famous. He still has a few good bumps until he breaks in half. He's well over, so why not?

Shelton- Okay, I don't think Shelton is ready for the title, but Edge VS Shelton = , while Edge VS Shelton TLC =

However, there is only one man that could really do that match any justice, for that title....

Bad move I think. Edge is nowhere near over enough to be a good WWE champion. Can't see him lasting until WM 22.

BTW did the whole thing with the dragon on the set make you have visions of RVD appearing or was it just me.

You know, I was just thinking about possible opponents for Edge, then I realised there are heaps.

Edge can feud with a face Kurt Angle, now, Rey Mysterio, Val Venis (this would be a bit of a stretch, but I can see them doing an "I bet you cheated on my sister when you were married to her" angle), Shawn Michaels (which would be worth it just for Vince screwing Shawn), Shelton Benjamin and of course...Rob Van Dam. I can even see The Undertaker winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Edge at WrestleMania (since they're both undefeated there).

The more and more I think about it, the more and more Edge seems like a good choice as WWE Champion right now I hope they keep him as WWE Champ past the obvious Flair and Cena matches.

One of the things I don't understand about this situation is why Edge? It's obvious this was a last minute, "Okay, the fans are bored of Cena, take the belt off him" thing. But if that's true, why not give it to Angle?

Kane winning would have been good, but the WWE obviously wants to push Edge. I can't blame them, the guy is pretty damn good.

I just hope they don't "script" him completely like they did Cena.

I would really love to see Edge become a fighting Champion. Have him defend the belt each week, and really let him wrestle good matches with guys, and he could really be a Champion we could see losing the title any week.

I have this sequence worked out in my head during an Edge vs. Val Venis match, where Edge is going for the Spear, Venis leap frogs over Edge when he comes in, Edge bounces off the turnbuckle and walks back into the Blue Thunder Driver by Venis, who then goes up top for The Money Shot. Venis either then hits and becomes WWE Champion (Pfft, I wish), or Edge rolls out of the way, Venis hits the canvas, and Edge locks in the Edgecator and Venis submits (more likely).

I dunno, sometimes they are really bad and set a crappy standard until the next PPV. If they're good, they're really good, though.

Venis then looks up at Edge, and he looks pissed off, and Edge then says he likes Val enough to tell him that he did. Edge then remarks how you'd think the sister of a porn star would be able to fuck...but he is cut off by an assault from Val Venis.

We get even more Edge in the main event, where Edge defends the WWE Championship against Ric Flair. Edge wins, and we get Edge vs. Venis confirmed for the next week, or something.

I really like Val Venis, and I think a program with Edge would really be interesting to see, as unrealistic as it is.

I finally got to see it. This was a very good way for Edge's character to win the title. Though I would have loved Edge to win the title as a face in a sweet ass match.

This was PERFECT.

I don't care what anyone thinks, I love Edge's character right now. He has finally found his "niche" since coming back from injury close to two years ago (yeah, that long).

It was perfect opportunity for his character to cash in and become WWE Champion. The crowd popped huge for it, maybe not because of it being Edge...but just the fact that Cena lost it.

I am really happy for Edge, like him or not he acheived his dream. He's busted his ass through all of the Hardy drama and became (atleast in my eyes) an entertaining performer.

I get the feeling that Edgen will retain the title until Wrestlemania where he loses the title to either John Cena (most likely senerio) or Rob Van Dam (if they try and turn John Cena into a heel again) I'd imagine they'll have Edge defend the WWE Championship against Ric Flair cause if you noticed there match at New Years Revolution didn't seem to end the feud. I could see Edge winning that to give his title some credibility, even through Flair is old and half of what he once was, he is still a 16 time World Champ which accounts for something. Then odds are Cena wins the Rumble and finally gets revenge at Wrestlemania...

Why no Triple H in the main event at Wrestlemania? For some reason I think Triple H is trying to prove that he doesn't have to be champ to be really over, which is true, but I'd expect him to win after it's been over a year since he had the strap, ya know he'll probably need the fix again. But after that long of a time it'll be welcome to see him with the championship, at least for me.

Out of curiosity, why is it a spoiler when it's aired on WWE programming? Beforehand I can understand, but is it really spoiling anything when it's slapped on WWE's main page as results?

I suppose the pepole who didnt order it and can somehow pry themselfs away fromt his forum for 2 (the replay on tues) days and NOT read the spoliers posted every 2 feet, or the fact that prowrestling.com or any other site has multiple spoliers in all there titles which are far more frequented then this forum....then i suppose thats how it could be a spolier....but im through trying to make sense around here.
