Plenty of terrible things have been done, but most of the best examples have already been mentioned in this thread, so here's one which has yet to come up.

When Earthquake sat on Damien, Jake Roberts' snake, and the following week served "Quakeburgers" to the announcers. They all complimented the Natural Disaster on his fine culinary skill, until he of course revealed them to be made of snake. Mmm-mmm, snake. I think Heenan kept eating.

I don't know...I mean, yes both acts were imitating apparent murder, but at least with Vince we didn't actually see "the corpse" ...and it didn't happen at Wrestlemania (the one event WWE pushes to the mainstream media more than any other). I guess to me, the Bossman death angle was more tasteless than Vince's "death"...

the Bossman angle was at a different period. I'd say it's actually less offensive because of the time.
