Well I don't know if its a case of him easily getting injured as it was just a bad shot. Everyone gets one once in a while. It was just shitty that it was his first fight. Tough guys get one punched too.

I believe Dipetro is known for getting injured quite often which sucks because he has such a crazy contract. I mean he injured himself during the skills competition in 2008.

Meh, who cares.

All I care about tonight is Vancouver beating the Blackhawks.

On nights like tonight, I just dont get the Sabres.

Granted Toronto isnt great. But the way they just dominated the game, they are so much better than 10th. Miller missed alot of time, and so really they are playing catchup. But I just dont get them.

They basically have a 4th line spot that has been a rotation of AHL guys. Mark Macari, Luke Adam, Paul Byron, Marc Andre Gragnani. They just rotate them all and it seems like a waste.

The fact that their Captain is a Healthy Scratch in more than half their games is another one I love.

I cant remember another team that just dropped their captain but kept the C on him like that.

And its not like the Sabres C is a complete waste of shit. They have a real history of Captains.

Bruins shut down Savard for what could be the rest of the season and playoffs due to his last concussion. They don't even want to try to bring him back until they can be sure he won't get a concussion for the rest of the season.

Feel sad for him since he tries very hard to come back each time and ends up with the worst luck out of anyone on the team and maybe in all of the NHL.

As much as I love to see anyone beat Pittsburgh I hate the fact it's on NBC. The commentators on NBC are horrible. I understand they are only trying to get hockey to fit in the States but they are just horrible. They need to hire a Canadian broadcast veteren to make it worth while for Canadians to watch an American broadcast of a Canadian game.

Leafs deal Francois Beauchemin to the Ducks for Joffery Lupul, Jake Gardiner who was Anaheim's first round pick in 08 and a conditional 4th round pick.

Crazy 2nd period between Bruins and Canadiens.

1 massive fight managed to fill up both penalty boxes and Thomas-Price fight ends with neither really wanting to beat each other up and Thomas falling when he tried to throw a punch.

5-3 Bruins lead with 6 goals scored so far in 2nd.

11 guys total in the penalty box (6 on Boston, 5 on Montreal).

Simple answer is ever since ESPN lost out on the NHL rights for games, they mostly stopped caring about NHL until maybe 1-2 years ago.

It used to be for a long while, all they did for NHL was a weekly recap of 15 minutes on Sportscenter or ESPN News along with quick daily recap of scores.

Nah they're showing the rest of it just the basketball during breaks. I still think they should just stick with the hockey until its finished and not switch between sports. They've also made a fuck up by saying the CBB game is live nhl. lol.

What a crazy end, 4 fights in the last minute!
