I noticed that Cole said on SmackDown! three weeks ago that he's "a character in the game". I don't know if that meant that he's just an announcer (which isn't news) or if he's actually playable.

Just seems like an odd name for having your first XBox Live match.

The Universe achievements fill me with hope for that mode though. Drafts, momentum and user-controlled interference.

Would be pretty awesome if there are special RAW's, like the draft night is like it is now with Raw V Smackdown matches with winners getting a draft pick for their brand followed by a supplementary draft.

Raw Roulette as well, it would only need a couple of cut-scenes, but it would add a lot to making it seem like not just being another Raw.

Yeah, we've gotten rid of teleporting moves, your wake-up taunt wakes them up, it's up to you to be in the right position when you do it. It's either how it is now, or they stagger towards you. It's like No Mercy now. Sometimes when the opponent was battered, they'd stand up in a dazed state when you did your special taunt (unless you were Scotty 2 Hotty).

Only issue I see is when the AI does it. As long as they use it near you, I have no problem with you.

You do the RKO wake up taunt. Randy pounds the mat, his opponent gets up dazed...you slowly walk over to the opponent to hit the RKO?

It looks shite.

I'm not saying use "canned animation" or have them teleport, I'm saying have them stagger into close enough range to just hit the move.

Or is that all dependant on where you are when you start the wake up taunt?

I'd say that there's a bit of a momentum-killing moment in it, but they're a great concept and I'm happy to have them in as-is. Next year they could make it so that if you hold a button, they'll stagger TO YOU no matter what and you'll immediately go into your finisher automatically. And if you don't hold the button it'll do what it does now. Best of both worlds, really, because as it stands it opens a lot of possibilities, especially in multi-man matches. Like Orton does the wake up taunt and Edge hits a Spear.

That's a minor issue, though. Better to give you the freedom to set up a move (say a springboard finisher) than have a canned animation where you're guaranteed to be face to face in the middle of the ring every time.
