I agree that there are few elite kickers, and only a few dependable. They just happen to be on the best teams (perhaps that is what makes them....the best)

I don't think a kicker has to be "elite" to also be considered dependable. Alls I'm saying is that if you have problems at the kicker position it proves to be a huge issue eventually. Always does, always will.

I don't think there is a single kicker in the NFL, that can't at least be described as "dependable".

They are all dependable, or else they wouldn't be there. It's just some are more dependable than others.

A bit of sad news. Bucs K Matt Bryant's infant son died yesterday morning. Cause is unknown at this time. Gruden doesn't know if Bryant will play this sunday.

Also, the word is that Troy Brown is expected to retire today.

Why do you make such a big deal about what team gets talked about the most, it's a lot cooler to have your team knock out a division rival in the playoffs and then win the Superbowl than to have a team with a bunch of pop culture icons on it who get talked about a lot

I do not mind the Giants at all. I wish them the best this year. Lord knows, my Rams are headed for 0-16. No doubt in my mind. We will not win a game this year.

I think the Titans have a good shot of it. I hate to say it, but now that our starting QB is benched, and Kerry Collins has taken the reigns, we're still a good team here in TN.

Collins isn't that bad of a QB. If he gets protection he will light you up. I guess you could say that about any QB though. Hell, he took the 2000 Giants the Superbowl, so he has some credentials.
