Their defense is gonna be brutal for the oppsition for sure, adding Forberg was great for them too but they did give up: Roenick (for peanuts), LeClair and Amonte (not to mention losing Recchi already last year). He was dogging it before he got hurt and when he got healthy again. I don't know if was pissed that Selanne wasn't playing on his line or what but it was obvious the guy wasn't giving full effort. Maybe he'll return to posting 30 goals a season again with the rule changes but I doubt it.

yeah, because trading for bertuzzi would be a lot easier than just signing May.

Amonte is washed up, so is LeClair. Giving up Roenick for nothing is tough but i'll take Forsberg over Roenick anyday. I thought Esche was their goalie anyway and he's pretty solid.

Hahah I the PENS! They're goin to be unbelieveable to watch.

Pengiuns got Andre Roy, they were after a tough guy, and had links to Domi. They made a better move here as Roy > Domi.

Sabres signed Teppo Nummimen as well. He's getting older, but he can still play, He's now the Sabres #1 dman...

and VEL...cant really blame the B's for wanting to get Thorton long term. Although Thorton doesnt seem to be bitting. If the B's choke this year, and don't look good for the playoffs, watch for them to trade Thorton, as im sure he'll be testing the FA market next season.

The Penguins are trying to recapture some of that offensive magic of the early to mid 90's they once had. They can never cry poverty again, that's for fucking sure. Damn man...offensively they'll be the shit. They'll still be shit defensively though. Maybe they have Hamrlik next in line?

Yes, actually. Great hockey atmosphere, great entertainment feeling at the Nashville center. If a buddy of mine hadn't moved to Nashville (since moved back) and told me how fun it was to go to the games down there and how the fans really got into, I'd never have believed it. Thing is, will it be the same after a year off? Hope so.

A few years ago, the Nucks and Red Wings were after him, the Wings got him signed @ 3-4 million per. The Canucks were close money wise then. Can't see why they'd shy away at the paltry sum if 1.5.
