Why? A-Rod is probably the most statistical player in baseball, and he's right in the middle of his prime. Him and Pujols are unquestionably the two best fantasy players. Mora's numbers took a big decline last year and Halladay hasn't been healthy in 2 years. Both are great players but I don't see how they are worth A-Rod.

I hate A-Rod and Mora is one of my favorite players. I like to root for my fantasy players but I want A-Rod to K every time he has an at bat. Also, my pitching staff is really nasty as it is, and even if Halladay gets injured again it won't even be that big of a blow considering what I have.

Goddamn I hate this league...pretty sure most guys haven't even checked their teams, allowing some ripoff deals to go down.

This one guy wanting to dump his Yanks dealt Jeter to one team for Jhonny Peralta...Peralta's good and all, but Jeter will give you more of everything

And then he dealt Posada to another team for Ramon Hernandez...

Neither of those trades have been vetoed...in fact, I think I'm the only one who checked.

Anyways, still looking to acquire a big bat...but the one trade I offered (I pry Papi away from an awesome offensive team with horrid pitching at the expense of Lidge and another guy) got no response yet, I doubt the guy's checked his team. He'll probably counter-offer with me giving up Mariano, but I'd do it since I'd still be getting a ridiculous bat and keeping 3 great closers.

Also, considering picking up either Pierzynski or Barajas to upgrade over Kendall. I like Barajas' potential in that park after last year...but I highly doubt he repeats his performance.

Missing drafts happens all the time. Don't just change it because of one person BECAUSE what ends up happening is others miss the new time still expecting it to be the original time. If you do change it, make sure everybody is notified via PM or something and get their views.

Yeah, I know, don't worry. He's the 3rd person to say he can't make it. Granted, its only 3 out of 16 or so, but I just want ot know what times are good for those who can't make it if those people outnumber the people who can make it (which is not the case right now).

Have a draft tomorrow after school.....fucking huge. 25 guy rosters like the real MLB, 12 teams.

I guess what makes it really realistic is that we use exact OF positions...so you won't be having a starting OF of Barry Bonds, Manny Ramirez, and Cliff Floyd. There is still a utility spot, though.

Hoping I pick mid-round. Gonna grab the best guy there the first 2 times around, but make sure I have an ace with at least my 3rd pick.
