I almost pity him. He's way too "new" on the scene to be garnering X-Pac heat already It's not his fault he's getting a push he clearly isn't ready for... but to be from a wrestling family and in the business this long, you'd think he'd be better at this..


And by the way, "Fallin' Up" era Black Eye Peas were fucking great. First two albums ("Behind The Front" and "Bridging The Gap") were good stuff; cool ass hip-hop albums in the vein of stuff like A Tribe Called Quest. Then they found Fergie, started wearing TRON vs Mad Max inpired apparrel, and lost their fucking minds.

I haven't seen enough to really say anything. From the little I've seen he seems like he could go either way. He's pretty shit on the mic, but look at the guys who've turned that around in the past. His ring work from the little I've seen isn't too bad either. I think with some polishing he might be able to amount to something, though I'm an optimist when it comes to this sort of thing so *shrug*.

I will say he looks kinda dimwitted, but apparently women think he's "cute" so he has that going for him I guess. Kinda reminds me of a far less masculine version of that Sharkboy kid from the Twilight movies.

I don't think he was referring to people thinking he's terrible now. Theres a general consensus that he will ALWAYS be terrible. THAT would be the comical part.

To be fair, I for one absolutely HATED Otunga on NXT. He was a shining example of someone who only got a shot because of the potiential publicity name-dropping his wife could bring. He seemed uncomfortable on the mic like he had stage fright, which is 180 degrees from that whole "A-List", center of attention persona he had at the time. He didn't move well in the ring, either. I don't just mean "workrate", but he just appeared uncoorinated and exposed to be very, very green. Also, he had that dangerous, cringe-worthy finisher that should have been named the Sloppy Slam (legit dangerous, seemed to almost dump a couple people on their heads).

He's gotten better, and in turn, has grown on me. But he earned that like. It wasn't simply because the consensus around here is to like him, nor is it because of the running gag of Otunga'd pics (which needs to start happening again, methinks). He worked at getting better. His matches, while not 5 star technical affairs, aren't botcheriffic anymore. His mic work has gotten better, thanks in no small part by him appearing to be more comfortable in his own skin while talking in one. He was a guy I was wrong about, but it's because he showed he could be entertaining. Not seeing that happening with Bo.

To me, Bo Dallas is more like Heath Slater. I wasn't constantly bashing "The Ginger Ninja" just for the sake of way back then, and suddenly digging him now with the whole 3MB schtick... I've been pretty indifferent to him. The issue with Bo Dallas is that, out the gate, he looks like he's being set up for a company sponsored meteoric rise. I would rather have seen a Ritchie Steamboat get the call up instead, or someone like Zack Ryder or JTG get back on the map with the Royal Rumble "Maven Moment". I'm not even going to detail exactly how many bricks I would have shat if Bo's brother showed up at the Rumble, all straw hat an microphone, talking about how he's gonna change the world.

Instead, it's like they just picked a name out of a hat and decided to give that guy a push, and it just so happened to be Bo Dallas. I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone's idea of a joke- or bet, like Trading Places. Trips bet Vince $1 in an executive bathroom that they could call up and make some random a-hole who isn't that good.

I will go on record right now as to say that I very much doubt I will find anything redeemable to endear me to Mr. Dallas. Unless he does something unforgetably amazing in the ring on in a promo, I'm not going to warm up to him 6 months from now simply because "he's cool now".

The only time I disliked Cena was during his first run as WWE Champion. After that, I grew to like him and I have said it before that I personally feel he's at his best when he's not in the title hunt. I find that Cena quite entertaining.

As for Otunga, I never really cared about him at first. He was just there to me. I didn't love or hate the guy and he didn't start growing on me until he stopped following Barrett and Punk around like a lost dog during The Nexus days and actually grew a spine and went solo.

Mark Henry, I've always loved Mark Henry. I think I love him more now than I ever have. Winning the ECW Championship back in 2008 was the beginning of great things for Henry. Sure he had a bit of a dip when he was drafted to Raw, but being drafted to SmackDown after it, more than made up for it.

Much like Otunga, I didn't really care for The Miz at first. Mostly because back in 2006, I didn't really watch SmackDown much and when I did come across The Miz, I didn't love or hate him. Again, much like Otunga, he was just there to me. When I started watching SmackDown regularly though, which was around the beginning 2007, I thought The Miz wasn't that bad. I've always liked him to some degree since then.

When it comes to Bo Dallas though. I've not seen much of him but I'm sure we'll all see more of him over the next couple of weeks. From what I've seen of him so far, I'm really not liking what I see. He is being pushed for great things, it's quite obvious to see that, but I just don't know why the push is happening. Even more so after his little promo on Raw this week. It was pretty bad and pretty bland. I've been to some indy shows in my area and even some of the guys at those shows have given better promos.

I think maybe the "WWE Universe" isn't ready for Bo Dallas yet and Bo Dallas isn't ready for the "WWE Universe". I think with more time away from television and more time training on various things, Bo Dallas and the "WWE Universe" might be ready for each other in the distant future.
