Rhodes Bros vs. Young Bucks was good overall. Started to drag on too much near the end though.

Show itself was pretty good and entertaining overall.

Honestly, say what you will about Michael Cole but he would have at least sounded like he was into the match for the whole duration of it. The Young Bucks just won this like 40 minute long match and Alex Marvez basically just mumbled that the match was over after the 3 count.

I enjoyed Fight For The Fallen overall. It's a very easy product to watch.

A few gripes tho:

1. Don't go overboard on apron spots
2. Alex Marvez has got to go, commentary is much better w/o him

Also, Congrats on raising $150,000 for victims of gun violence, that's awesome!

Plus pace some of the matches better and/or bump up the regular time limit to 30 minutes so there is more room to work with for non-major matches.

Ok this is what annoys me. They are patting themselves on the back for $150,000.

The Khans have like $6 billion and they are hyping $150k.

Like when they make shirts for Susan B Koman and says "a portion of all proceeds will go the the Susan B Koman organization" and you know Vince is making that portion be like $1.00 of that $25.00 shirt.

And Vince probably takes that $1.00 from the wrestlers share the cheap bastard lol

Anytime the final donation is a flat clean number, either means someone pocketed a good chunk of the money or the real amount was lower and they needed a bigger number to look good on tv.

If I remember those Susan B shirts that WWE sells have a pretty messed up history.

First year they sold the shirts, think it was either the entire purchase or a higher percentage got donated. Wasn't till well after the month ended that WWE realized how much money the charity pocketed for themselves.

The following year, WWE cut the percentage donated and pocketed the difference since in their mind if someone was going to keep the extra money, it might as well be them. Think that might have also been when they started giving clean numbers for final donations and/or a cap on the amount.

Susan B Koman is one of those sham charities anyway. I don't mean sham as in fake, but in that there is no reason for it.

Their charity is literally for breast cancer awareness. Not a cure, not funding research, just to make people aware of breast cancer with the purpose of gaining Public Relations and Goodwill. Such a small small amount actually goes to curing breast cancer, because if there was a cure there would be no need for their non profit company to exist.

Seems there is an explanation for some of the production and timing/pacing issues with this show.

According to r/SquaredCircle, Tony Khan wasn't backstage at last night's show due to him being busy with Fulham FC related business. With the prior shows, he personally handled the timing of matches and show itself to make sure things stayed on track.

Similar. I mean, I get the gripe, but it doesn't bother me so much. If Steve Corino could put on a mask just to pretend he was someone else and continue appearing in the booth on ROH TV since he was supposed to be "gone" is perfectly fine, why can't a guy go under his mask with his ring name just be a guy with his mask and ring name? Lawler sat at a table for decades in full ring gear with a gimmick crown when it made no earthly sense to do so.

The fact that Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus were the only wrestlers sent out there with the rest of the Elite to present the check speaks volumes. They’re gonna be a big deal.

Official Fight for the Fallen Ratings
Hey guys I'm back with this shows edition of OFFICIAL FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN RATINGS. I didn't watch the show live but I stayed spoiler free and watched it this morning.

I did not watch the pre-show.

Opening Six Man Tag ***

Very solid open. All the guys shined. I LOLed when Janella DVD'ed Sammi and said "fuck you Cornette" to the camera. Fun match and Spears came off really strong.

Brandi vs Allie *

This sucked. Both of them were shit. I give it one star because the match was at least put together well.

I could give two shits for The Old Kong's. They both suck too.

3 Way Tag Team *** 1/2

Lot's of fun, great moves, not everything mattered so it get's this rating from me. A good development for Jungle Boy and Dark Order. Now I see why Luchasaurus didn't make it in NXT. Too much bullshit from him, just stick to big guy stuff.

Hangman vs Sabian *** 3/4

Almost at THAT LEVEL but the crowd was kinda low energy most of the match. But Page was awesome and Sabian had a great showing, my first time seeing him I think. Page really can be the lead babyface they just need to stick with it. The Jericho gimmick was obvious from the get go so the announcers came off stupid.

Lucha Brothers vs SCU *** 3/4

Great match. Lucha Bro's came off so well and SCU was solid as always. I was feeling tired of Lucha Bro's and The Bucks but to be honest I'm pretty pumped for a ladder war between the two.

Kenny Omega vs CIMA *****

Best Bout Machine is back. Fuck yes this was like NJPW Kenny. Love love loved it. CIMA was so good. I hope they do this match again on TV.

Jericho Promo

Not my favorite.

Bucks vs The Broothehood ****

Great match, not as good as the previous one but a very good main event tag with some fun old school meets new school spots. I feel that it went on a little long had the cut it by 10 minutes it would have gone down better for me. The Bucks are the best team in the world.

Excalibur's mask doesn't bother me just like JR's hat doesn't bother or Jerry Lawler's crown doesn't bother me. It's part of his gimmick.
