Can't blame Hull for trying to still play. It's what he does. I don't like the guy, but he's been a potent scorer in the past and was always an offensive threat. His time has come and past.

also apart from his injuries he's still had a very good career. Hassn't he averaged 1 point per game even with all his injuries?

I'm not jealous. I wish him well in fact. Thing is, he's a huge liability due to injuries and his ability to get into controversies. I hope none of that happens to him again, but it's tough to change a leopard's spots.

Injuries cut his career short, but IMO he was one of the best power-forwards ever. I think he is worthy of a Hall induction.

Bob Gainey didn't even average a half point per game, but there is no denying he belongs in the Hall.

If we are just quoting stats like that.

Cam Neely averaged 0.95 PPG

Gordie Howe averaged 1.04 PPG

Not a big difference.

he didn't do enough in his career though. Those are not hall of fame numbers. I'm not saying he wasn't a great player, but he just didn't do enough.

Yeah, I dont think he was a hall of famer either. he had the ability and potential to be, but he hasn't accomplished anything of note really, nor do the numbers back him up. He for some reason has a pretty big name in the sport though, and will get consideration.

He is not a Hall of famer.

how the hell does neely belong in the hall. He never won anything, has doesn't even have 400 career goals! Like i said, it's not the Hockey Hall of Above Average. This is why our hall of fame is a joke
