Depending what game type I am playing usually depends on my setup. Same with map. Usually I will use the M16, red dot, deagle, claymores, stopping power, last stand. On some maps I will switch for either the shotty or the P90. If I use the P90 I go with double tap, and then increased hip fire accuracy.

If I play team hardcore, which is amazing fun, I will use either the M16 or the G3. The G3 with stopping power is a one shot kill no matter where you hit them. So if you're on a relatively long range map, it shits all over people. Otherwise, I stick mainly with the M16.

My best was last night, with a 40/15 kill/death score and our team with over 150 points than the other team. It was a headquarters game (which I love.. we've been going into strictly headquarters matches lately) on Strike, which is an awesome map. I also had three FFA games in a row earlier that night where I won with 30/9, 30/6, and 30/8. While I'm not amazing, I like to think I am pretty good for only having played the game at friends' houses since I don't own a 360.

And yeah, search and destroy is completely worthless. Hate it. Domination is alright, but headquarters is definitely tits. I wish they had a Team Hardcore menu where they had all of the gametypes but in Team Hardcore style. Team Hardcore - Headquarters all the time would be amazing.

Nah, pretty sure it is worthless. Any game in which the glitches change the way the game is played is completely worthless.

Glitches with graphics and such are fine.. all games have a few of those. But GoW has retarded glitches that completely change the way people play it. To where you do glitches in order to give yourself an advantage. I posted a paragraph with nothing but Gears glitches in another thread a while back when someone else was talking about the game.

CoD4 is twenty times the game GoW ever hoped to be. And even on non-HD (and especially on HD), the game looks more gorgeous than GoW did, which was the only thing that game even had going for it at the time.

Nah singleplayer campaign is better than cod 4's in my opinion.

In terms of sheer awesomeness, CoD4's campaign wins hands down. In terms of length, then yeah.. I guess GoW could beat it in that department.

But the quality of CoD's single player was just amazing. It never left you feeling underwhelmed, and just when you thought the next level might just be more of the 'same old same old', it threw something new at you that you weren't expecting.

Just the freaking night vision from the gunship was amazing, where you could switch between the three guns and shit on people from the sky. Then the sniper mission, the flying in a helicopter in the gunner seat and then having to rescue a downed chopper pilot.

It was just refreshing, because no game has really meshed everything so well together. I loved switching back and forth between different viewpoints. Even the opening credits were sweet.

Watched a friend go 144 and 25 in a game, and then later that night he went 198 and 20.

That's kills/deaths, obviously. I pretty much wanted to punch him in the face. My best is 98 and 25.

LOL I love some of the challenges they came up with.

Kill yourself and 1 enemy with a cooked grenade without throwing it.

But my favorite would have to be...

Kill an enemy, pick up his weapon, and then kill him again with his own weapon.

Update is up. Well, half of it. Matchtypes are different now. You can now pick between team deathmatch and search and destroy in hardcore, instead of having them mixed together. There is now Mercenary team deathmatch, which is just TDM without parties. No one knows eachother. And they've also, added the maps shipment and showdown into the rotation for all the other matchtypes.

Still waiting on the sniper rifle fix tho.

I am seriously fed up with playing alongside some of them. They are below average players, and one complains of his lag every 2.4 seconds. The one that I really enjoy playing with and could count on being online got the red lights, so it'll be like a month before he comes back. So I really have 4 people I like playing with. SLU, Roxer, McFlee and DS.

Not even enough for a full team. :foc:
