TO's fans are pretty loyal. They sold out even when they were at their worst. Cant say the same for Detroit. Heck even now there's more buzz for the Leafs in TO then there is for the Wings in Detroit.

But yeah, Montreal is the epicentre.

- Montreal has 24, Toronto has 13 and Detroit has 11
- Toronto has fans from before they won their last cup (43 years ago) so their fans are pretty loyal
- I like Detroit far more then Toronto so maybe I am biased, but Detroit is a far better team and always has been, because they have someone who always manages to find that 5th-7th round superstar (Zetterberg, Datysuk)
- I have been a Buffalo fan, a Detroit fan (I followed Hasek, I know he played for the Sens but fuck the Sens) and now, Carey Price so I am Montreal fan.

lol first of all. Detroit gave themselves that name. Listen to sportstalk radio in Detroit. Nobody talks about the Wings. They don't sell out all of their games like the Leafs, Habs, and they are not diehard at all. During the 80's nobody came to their games. Leafs and Habs fans did. It's actually a running joke on the radio that Detroit is hockey town. You could buy 4 tickets to a playoff game easily the day of. I should know because I went even though I'm a Leafs fan. How can a fan base be so "loyal and diehard" when they can't sell out a friggen playoff game?
