I don't know the Reds could probably get some revenge on Oswalt or Hamels. They get a day off today. Just come back tomorrow do your best and they could win on Friday. I think they may take it up to the 5th game but anything happen. I really want the Reds to win against Philly.

I don't know about Montero dude. I don't think the Yankees have too much promise in him as catcher because of his build as catcher. I think they see him as more of a DH 1st baseman. And we're pretty set when it comes to that. I think the one who is probably gonna be catcher may be Romine. The Yankees almost traded Montero for Soria earlier this year. He's a great closer and would have been a great 8th inning guy. But, unfortunately I see Montero traded to a team who is in need of a first baseman or DH for a solid starter or a good bat or some need like that. Trust me I love Montero but seeing as how they were this close to trading him for Lee and again for Soria I see him traded at some point. If that's not the case though I look forward to seeing him in a Yankee Uniform.

And we're pretty set when it comes to that. I think the one who is probably gonna be catcher may be Romine. The Yankees almost traded Montero for Soria earlier this year. He's a great closer and would have been a great 8th inning guy. But, unfortunately I see Montero traded to a team who is in need of a first baseman or DH for a solid starter or a good bat or some need like that. Trust me I love Montero but seeing as how they were this close to trading him for Lee and again for Soria I see him traded at some point. If that's not the case though I look forward to seeing him in a Yankee Uniform.
All the reports I've read this year have said he's improved a lot as a catcher. If he's an average catcher he'd be a huge asset to the team with the bat he's supposed to bring. They've stuck with him as catcher so I think they'll give him a shot. He could probably use some more time at AAA to continue improving his defense next year but I think we'll see him in the majors. Could definitely see a catching tandem of Posada/Montero next year with Cervelli as the third guy. If they have Posada and Montero split time it gives Posada the rest he needs and eases Montero into the catching role. More than likely the other one could be the DH on days they aren't catching.

Awesome outing for The Freak. Still want the Reds to beat the Phillies, but a Giants/Phillies NLCS would be interesting just to see a pitching showdown between Lincecum and Halladay.
Braves/Giants will probably be the most entertaining series. I hope it goes to 4 or 5, because the other ones don't look like they're going to.

Fucking Yankees are going to beat the Twins. The Twins just seem intimidated. To beat the Yanks I don't think that can happen. Seemed like they lost all hope and played nervous once the Yanks regained the lead. Half of beating the Yankees in the postseason is mental I think.

So glad to see the Rangers handling the Rays.

It's a foregone conclusion that he's headed to the Yankees next year. The only other team that would give him the type of money he'd be looking for is Boston and they've already got Beckett, Lester, Buccholz, Lackey, and Dice-K.

If the Rangers get to the WS and he goes to the Yanks, he'll look like a sellout. If the Yanks beat him in the ALCS and he goes there he'll look like a pussy. Not that he'd care rolling in his piles of money.

Boston won't go after him unless Beckett and maybe Dice-K were to leave since owners want to trim a little of the payroll while fixing the bullpen and maybe adding some low-pay players for depth.

Best bet is starting a bidding war and forcing the Yankees to over-pay Lee more than they wanted like they have done with a few other players in the past.

My hatred for the Rays is different than my hatred for the Yankees too. I hate the Yankees more because of the long standing rivalry with the Red Sox. But I respect the Yankees franchise.
I pretty much have no respect for the Rays. It makes me a bit sick to watch a playoff game in that park tbh. Ugh to their fans, or lack thereof

Hmm...the Rangers just got a $150 million per year TV contract. If the Rangers can get by the Yankees I think there may actually be a chance Lee decides to re-sign. Still have my doubts though.

Over half the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater population are people from other parts of the country who moved there. They already have their allegiances. I know there's a huge contingency of Reds fans down in that region.
