Liddell V Ortiz 3? Not any more

Quote:
As MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) reported earlier today, the UFC announced the pay-per-view show is headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between "The Ultimate Fighter 11" coach Chuck Liddell and "TUF 11" replacement coach Rich Franklin.

Additional main-card fights include Patrick Barry vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago, Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald, and Evan Dunham vs. Tyson Griffin.

UFC 115 takes place at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

UFC 115 initially was slated to feature a headliner between Liddell and fellow "TUF 11" coach Tito Ortiz. However, Franklin replaces Ortiz at some point on the reality show, which airs its third episode on Wednesday.

With a solid and deep lineup, more than a few main-card regulars were forced to UFC 112's un-aired preliminary card. However, those bouts – specifically, Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman and Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel – could be shown during a Spike TV "UFC Prelims" broadcast if the cable station taps UFC 115 as one of its 10 specials this year. (MMAjunkie.com reported earlier today that UFC 113 won't have a "UFC Prelims" one-hour special but that UFC 114 will.)

UFC 115 marks the UFC's debut in Vancouver and just the fourth Canadian show in UFC history. Montreal's Bell Centre hosted UFC 83 in 2008 and UFC 97 in 2009, and it'll also host UFC 113 next month on May 8.

Regulatory issues nearly kept UFC 115 from happening in Vancouver, and Cincinnati was on standby as a potential replacement site. However, two weeks ago, a three-hour emergency meeting of the Vancouver City Council, which included UFC officials, satisfied the city's concerns over legal liability and insurance costs.

The full UFC 115 card includes:

MAIN CARD

* Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin
* Patrick Barry vs. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic
* Martin Kampmann vs. Paulo Thiago
* Carlos Condit vs. Rory MacDonald
* Evan Dunham vs. Tyson Griffin

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman
* Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
* Peter Sobotta vs. James Wilks
* Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick
* Jesse Lennox vs. Mike Pyle
Probably will include Fitch V Alves as well, so I'd assume Dunham V Griffin will drop to prelims.

Henderson: I have more dimensions as an mma fighter
Franklin: How many more dimensions did he say? Was it like 3 more dimensions? Cause thats ALOT of dimensions

When I see my opponent, I begin shaking uncontrollably, and once he hits me, I think to myself, You just hit Wanderlei Silva, how dare you hit Wanderlei Silva, and then I try to kill him. Wanderlei
