NOW PLAYING: Armchair Warfare, Television Week Four!

At long last, it's the moment you've all been waiting for...week four of Armchair Warfare here at TPWW! We here at Armchair would like to apologize for the delayed results, but hey, life comes at you fast. (PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME PENALTIES AND BONUSES HAVE BEEN ADDED OR SUBTRACTED FROM THE SCORES IN INSTANCES WHERE THE NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP)
*****

Vintage Championship Wrestling continues to steam roll, winning the THIRD consecutive public poll and remaining firm at the number one position. Superb isn't completely out of reach, but they'll need a big week this time around to get within striking distance for the PPV. Dead Wrong continues to improve each week, but will they improve enough this week to vault themselves back into contention? This Is Wrestling ended up reclaiming fourth place after falling to fifth last week, and Lethal Action is on life support. BUT WE'RE HAVING FUN, RIGHT????

Here are who your judges thought were the biggest stars last week:

*****

The Miz (DWW) – 34 PTS
Samoa Joe (TIW) – 25 PTS
Triple H (VCW) – 19 PTS
Sheamus (TIW) – 14 PTS
Randy Orton (VCW) – 12 PTS

CM Punk (SCW) – 10 PTS
Joe Perfect (VCW) – 8 PTS
Mystery Man (VCW) – 8 PTS
Michael Tarver (LAW) – 4 PTS
Rhino (DWW) – 4 PTS
John Cena (LAW) – 4 PTS
Desmond Wolfe (LAW) – 3 PTS
Hulk Hogan (VCW) – 3 PTS
The British Tigers (DWW) – 1 PT

*****

I went ahead and tabulated points for every single entity that was ranked by any of the judges for the Star Power rankings. These points are NOT cumlitave and can be COMPLETELY different next week. They won't count for anything until the pay-per-view round where the TOP FIVE stars from week four will earn bonus points for their company by appearing on the PPV card.

Star Power will be EXTRA important this week, as the top five star power performers will earn their company bonus points in the PPV round.

-------
* If you are a judge, DO NOT VOTE ON THE PUBLIC POLL. I will accept your official rankings in the social group, along with your STAR POWER RANKINGS. Please discuss your opinions in this thread, though.

* If you are a booker, DO NOT VOTE ON THE PUBLIC POLL.

* Anyone else, you are more than welcome to vote in the public poll (encouraged, even), but it would be greatly appreciated if you didn't do so until YOU READ ALL FIVE SHOWS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. Thanks in advance.

--------

OK, enough jibba jabba. I'll start posting the shows in just a few minutes here. Please DO NOT VOTE OR POST IN THIS THREAD UNTIL ALL FIVE SHOWS HAVE BEEN POSTED.

FREAKY! OUTTIE!

SCW Shockwave – Week 4
We’re just one week away from SCW’s first ever PPV extravaganza, WrestleFest! At present the show is set to be headlined by “The Olympic Hero” Kurt Angle and “The All-American American” Jack Swagger in a match to decide the first ever SCW Champion. Both men will have the night off from competition, but they will be on hand to see if they will have company in the WrestleFest main event. CM Punk could wiggle his way into the mix with a victory in “the gauntlet”. What does this gauntlet have in store? We’ll find out tonight!

---

Tomko’s music hits and he’s out first, badass goatee and all. He steps into the ring looking imposing as ever, ready for his first singles action in SCW. But it’ll be no easy task tonight as he’ll be going up against “The Monster” Abyss, who last week was made a target by Kane.

Tomko vs. Abyss
Matt Striker: “If JR were here, he’d say these two men are a couple of hosses!”
That quote epitomizes this match. Both men put their fantastic power on display throughout. Tomko began to ground Abyss and got several near-falls but Abyss would always muscle out. After a tight contest, Abyss goes into comeback mode, whips Tomko into the ropes, and connects with a Black Hole Slam to win it.

After the win, Abyss seems to have a bit of a breakdown in the ring, pounding the mat and screaming “KANE!” Obviously, Kane’s threatening words and attack last week are still weighing heavily in his mind. Dr. Stevie comes out and talks to Abyss as he walks to the back. Looks like Stevie’s going to have himself another client.

---

Curt Hawkins is out next, accompanied by Vance Archer. Hawkins looks smug after he and Archer injured Edge a couple weeks ago. The South Beach Boyz dance out next, Percy Watson is in singles action!

Curt Hawkins w/ Vance Archer vs. Percy Watson w/ Darren Young
Percy starts off with a head of steam, but it’s not too long before Hawkins winds up taking control of the match. Archer and Young wind up fighting at ringside with Young being taken out. Hawkins connects with a swinging scoop slam on Watson before heading up to the top to hit a huge flying elbow. Hawkins picks up the win in his first singles match in SCW.

Hawkins goes to the top and celebrates, looking out to the crowd. While he’s doing that, he fails to notice Edge jumping the rail and taking out Archer at ringside via throwing him into the steel steps. Edge gets in the ring as Hawkins continues to celebrate. Hawkins comes down from the top and when he turns around, SPEAR! Edge is back, and the crowd loves it. Edge grabs a microphone and keeps it short and sweet, “see you at WrestleFest, Curt.”

---

We cut backstage to see the hapless Heath Slater walking around. His tenure at SCW has been quite sad to this point, as he’s eaten a boot to the face in three straight weeks. He then appears to lock eyes with someone. The camera pans back to reveal Tomko, who is in a foul mood after his loss earlier.

Slater: “Hey Tomko. As you’ve probably seen, the One Man Rock Band is a wanted man. People are always after the stars. What I need is a big backup. I know you’ve been a backup before…so whaddya say?”

Tomko: “No.

Slater’s cocky grin soon turns to a frown as, yep, you guessed it…Slater gets booted in the face. When is this guy ever gonna learn?

---

The Hardys come out, Jeff Hardy will be in singles action tonight in advance of their SCW Tag Team Title Ladder Match against the Young Bucks at WrestleFest. As they walk down to the ring, Matt can be heard imploring Jeff to “watch his scouting video”, to which Jeff continually refused. Apparently, Matt must have done some more of his unconventional stalking under the guise of “scouting”. The Young Bucks come out next and the match is underway.

Jeff Hardy w/ Matt Hardy vs. Jeremy Buck w/ Max Buck
As you would expect, this one was a fast paced encounter. With each match the Bucks are involved in, the comparison to the Hardys becomes more and more evident. Plenty of big spots were in this one. Matt tried to get involved, but Jeff didn’t want the help. Jeremy hit an outside placha to the pesky Matt. Max came over to break it up, and Jeff leapt over onto all three men.

Jeff hits his own Twist of Fate on Jeremy, and then heads up to the top rope. Matt jumps onto the apron and tries to bark instructions at Jeff to “spice it up” and do something “flashier” than the Swanton. Jeff ignores him and tries the Swanton anyway, but by that point Jeremy had enough time to recover and roll out of the way. Jeff crashes to the mat and Jeremy gets the 3 count. Matt facepalms. The Hardys seem to continue having chemistry issues. Will they work this out before Sunday?

---
Angle and Swagger make their way out to the arena, each man taking a seat on a separate side of the stage. A highlight package is shown profiling both men and their remarkably similar upbringings in the world of amateur wrestling. It’s the Olympic Gold Medalist vs. the All-American (American) on Sunday! But they may have company. Tonight, both men want to get some up-close scouting for the gauntlet. CM Punk is out next to a chorus of boos from the audience. He glares at both Angle and Swagger on the way down to the ring. He gets in the ring and takes the microphone from Justin Roberts.

Punk: “From day one here at SCW, Ric Flair has tried to hold me back. I’ve exposed him for the sinful old man that he is, so he’s tried to screw me over. He booked me in a battle royal filled with inebriated party animals who surely disagree with my values just to keep me out of the main event of WrestleFest. And now he’s making me run a GAUNTLET just to get my rightful spot! Well Flair, the jokes on you…because after I win this gauntlet, I will show the world why straight edge means I’m better than you!”

Speaking of party animals, the music of the South Beach Boyz hits and Darren Young comes out as the first participant in the gauntlet. The announcers are sure to mention that Young might still be looking for payback as Punk was at one point Young’s “mentor”.

Gauntlet Segment 1: CM Punk vs. Darren Young
Punk sneers at Young, but is then taken down with a quick clothesline. Young gets a few shots in and controls the early going with some stomps and punches. Young throws Punk into the corner and connects with a clothesline. He then goes to Irish Whip Punk only for Punk to reverse it and lift Young up, nailing a GTS out of nowhere. Punk gets the pin and moves on, but it’s not long before the music of “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters hits and he jogs out as the next participant.

Gauntlet Segment 2: CM Punk vs. Chris Masters
Punk gets some kicks in on the strongman Masters to try and take him off his guard. But he goes to the well once too often as Masters starts to take over. Masters bench presses Punk and slams him down to the mat, Punk looks to be in trouble! The Masterlock is applied to the delight of the crowd. Punk struggles and tries to fight out of it, he gets himself close to the turnbuckle and pushes off of it to flip himself over Masters. Masters turns around, GTS! Punk squeaks past Masters! But here comes Kazarian!

Gauntlet Segment 3: CM Punk vs. Kazarian
Kazarian really takes the fight to Punk, continuing his streak of really impressive showings in SCW. Pretty fast-paced encounter for ten or so minutes as Punk is clearly running out of gas after having essentially worked two matches already. Kazarian sets Punk up on the top turnbuckle for the Flux Capacitor, but Punk pushes Kazarian off. Punk hits a top-rope knee drop followed by locking on the Anaconda Vice. Kazarian taps out.

Punk gets up and runs around the ring in celebration, assuming that was the end of the gauntlet. But flames go off on the turnbuckles as here comes Kane! Punk can’t believe it.

Gauntlet Segment 4: CM Punk vs. Kane
Punk has almost nothing left in the tank as Kane seems to have his way with Punk, nailing several big power moves. Kane grabs Punk by the throat. Chokeslam coming, but Abyss attacks Kane from behind! Abyss wants some retribution for last week’s sneak attack. They brawl into the stands once again. Meanwhile, the referee is seen talking to ring announcer Justin Roberts.

Roberts: “Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the fall as a result of a disqualification – KANE! Therefore, CM Punk does NOT win the gauntlet and will NOT be competing at WrestleFest!”

Punk is beside himself. He runs out and grabs a microphone before jumping back into the ring.

Punk: “Flair, that is ridiculous! I had that match won! You had better come out and rectify this situation right now!”

Flair obliges and appears on the rampway.

Flair: “Sorry Punk. You didn’t win, so you can’t be in the title match. How unfortunate. I’d like to announce that in order to prevent this from happening in the inaugural SCW Title match, it will be no disqualifications!”

Punk: “This is absurd.”

Flair: “Rules are rules.”

Punk: “Fine. But let me just assure you, the SCW locker room, and all of these poisoned souls here and at home that this Sunday, the true power of straight edge will be revealed one way or another. And this is all on YOUR shoulders, Flair…”

As Flair ponders Punk’s words, Swagger had snuck over to Angle’s side of the ramp. He connects with a cheap shot, but Angle gets right back up. They begin to brawl as Flair tries to break them up, security joins in as well to try and pull them apart. It’s a chaotic scene as we close with a recap package for WrestleFest!

---

The first ever SCW champion will be decided as Jack Swagger and Kurt Angle, two of the best athletes in the business, go head to head. Which of these proud athletes will be able to be the first man to hoist the gold? The Young Bucks look to continue their ascension up the tag team ranks as they face their childhood idols the Hardys in a sure-to-be-crazy ladder match for the SCW Tag Team Titles! Edge got some retribution tonight against his former protégé Curt Hawkins, and on Sunday he will look to dish out more punishment as the two will face off. And just signed, “The Monster” Abyss will collide with “The Big Red Machine” Kane! These two have been at each other’s throats for weeks now, and now the two brutes can finally settle their differences in the ring. CM Punk promised to reveal the power of straight edge on Sunday, what could that mean?

More great matches will take place and even more surprises are sure to be in store as well. If you miss WrestleFest, you will be missing a truly Superb wrestling program. See you Sunday!

LAW Monday Night Mayhem: Week 4
Opening package hypes the last week’s events involving Cena, Jericho, Barrett and Wolfe. The tournament is hyped.

A graphic is shown to announce tonight’s main event. A tag team matchup between the teams of Wade Barrett and John Cena, versus Chris Jericho and Desmond Wolfe.
Also advertised: As promised The Assassin Michael Tarver will be in action in an LAW ring for the first time tonight!

Chris Jericho promo to open the show. He boasts about his meetings with The Boss. He talks about how he’s the bosses handpicked choice to be the face of LAW. The title will be his. He says Wolfe can ride his coat tails to victory tonight against Cena and Barrett, but it will be curtains for him in the first round of the tournament at Inception.

Cena comes down. He tells Jericho that if he thinks he’s just going to kiss ass to get to his title, he’s in for a big surprise. He will not quit and he won’t lay down. No matter what Jericho or the powers that be think, it will be his day. Jericho calmly says we’ll see about that and sports a sinister shit-eating grin.

Hart Dynasty vs Yoshi Tatsu and Santino Marella.
Hart Dynasty is off to dominance early. Tatsu and Marella rally and the crowd is hot behind them, especially for Santino’s comedy, but Hart Dynasty quickly begins to dominate again.
They deliver a Hart Attack. They deliver dual sharpshooters, and then give the Hart Attack to both men again and throw them from the ring. This is an absolute dismantling.

Tyson Kidd picks up a microphone as DH Smith stands behind him. He says the thrown together tag teams of jobbers and misfits are boring them. They say it’s time for some real competition to step up. They issue an open challenge for Inception.

Backstage segment. Wade Barrett says all this talk about The Boss is nonsense. He demands Gorman tell him who the mysterious puppet master is. Gorman says he is sworn to secrecy, and that he’s received word that everyone will found out soon anyways.

He warns Gorman that it better not stand in his way Sunday. All this nonsense about Jericho being in The Bosses good graces is making him uneasy. Gorman says he is in the dark about all that as anyone else. Barrett gives him the evil eye and walks away.

D’Angelo Dinero promo. He begins to talk about his time in TNA. He mentions that while he was there, he had very few real friends. In that lockerroom, the young guys stuck together and one of those guys was Matt Morgan. He talks about how here in LAW, he knew one person would have his back. Matt Morgan. But then came last week. He calls out Morgan.
Matt Morgan comes out. He talks about how LAW is all about new beginnings this, and new beginnings that. He talks about how everyone is trying to make an impact, and ever since debuting here, he hasn’t made any impact. Until now. He says friendships are the past, and old locker room cliques are as dead as that locker room. He then begins ranting incoherently. Dinero looks at him confused.

He then snaps back to it. He challenges Dinero to a match on Sunday and slaps him. Dinero slaps him back. He accepts.
Morgan starts laughing maniacally and walks up the ramp.

Assassin Michael Tarver vs Justin Gabriel.
Tarver mixes it up with Gabriel until hitting several big power moves on him out of nowhere.
He hits a body slam, a fisherman’s suplex, and then a huge uppercut knockout punch.

Gabriel is out cold. Tarver doesn’t stop there. He begins to make an example out of him
He goes to the outside and gets a steel chair. He places it around Gabriels ankle, and starts to climb the top rope.

Big Show’s music hits. The crowd goes wild. Big Show is out with a steel pipe. Tarver stares back at him with hatred, and starts walking towards him.
Gorman and security rush out to stop them.
It’s a full on brawl. Big Show is yelling and drooling. Tarver is spouting off smack talk and threats. Tarver and Big Show both knock out several security guards trying to get at eachother, and Gorman screams and tries to maintain order.

Gorman grabs a microphone. He says they can get their hands on eachother at It’s on for the PPV. Big Show vs Tarver in a street fight at Inception.

Zack Ryder and Eli Cottonwood segment. Velvet Skye is stripped naked by Zack Ryder. Cottonwood challenges Ryder to a match at the PPV. Ryder accepts.
John Cena and Wade Barret vs Wolfe and Jericho
Gorman is the special guest referee.

Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho start the matchup.
Jericho and Wolfe work on Barrett early.
Wade Barrett delivers the hot tag to Cena.
Cena and Barret begin to push and shove eachother. Jericho and Wolfe work like a well oiled machine.

Jericho and Wolfe begin to work Cena in their corner.
Jericho and Wolfe begin to argue over a tag.
Cena capitalizes on the fight and “hulks up” against Jericho.

John Cena hoists Jericho up for an Attitude Adjustment. The lights in the arena go out. When they come back on Cena looks confused and Jericho instantly hits a codebreaker. He hits a lionsault and pins John Cena for the victory.

Jericho laughs and celebrates the victory.
Cena looks irate. Wolfe and Barrett stand in the ring exchanging dirty looks with Cena and one another.

The commentators speculate on what these shenanigans were. Did The Boss arrange this to protect Chris Jericho? Will this continue at Inception?

*Sign off*

WEDNESDAY NIGHT WARFARE
EPISODE 4

NOTE: Please make sure you click on the spoiler tags as there are plot points/actions and dialog within.

Action = *Wrestler A hits Wrestler B with his finishing move*
Dialogue = Wrestler A: I hate you Wresler B!
=================================================================

*Orton is in the ring and he is pissed*

Orton: Anderson. Get your ass out here! NOW!

Cole: Welcome to Wednesday Night Warfare, we kick-off this show with Randy Otorn in the ring and he is not happy! And before we came on air, our cameras caught the reason why...

*Orton walks into his dressing room to find it destroyed. His clothes are ripped, everything is smashed up. He picks up his bag, looks inside and quickly throws the bag to the floor in disgust. He looks across and sees Anderson's mic sat on a chair in the corner of the room. He bursts out into the corridor and is livid. He grabs a VCW Official and asks where Anderson is. The guy says he doesn't know. Orton pushes the official against the wall and walks away. He eventually comes into the arena and makes his way to the ring, which brings us to the present*

Orton: Ken. Get out here...NOW!

*Anderson makes his way into the arena and down the ramp without music*

Hulk: Looks like Anderson finally has Orton where he wants him!

*Cole has a mic*

Cole: Gentlemen, please, lets save it for the PPV. However, as you're both so fired up, I'm going to give you the chance to "work out" some of that fire in your stomachs. Both of you will be in one-on-one competition tonight!

*Anderson and Orton stare each other down as we get the delayed Opening Credits. After the opening video package the pyro sets off and Cole welcomes us to the 4th edition of VCW Wednesday Night Warfare*

[PRE-CREDIT SEGMENT = 5 MINS]

Cole: An explosive start to Warfare this week. We are just a few days from VCW's first PPV - Revelation. Four matches have already been signed, including my commentating partner Hulk Hogan going up against this man...

SPOILER: show

Borash: Coming down the aisle weighing in tonight at 225lbs, hailing from Chaplin, Minnesota... Joe Perfect.

*Perfect makes is enterance with the trademark towel made famous by his father. He walks around ringside towards the announce table. He spits his chewing gum into the air and swats it just like his father used to do - but he swats it at Hogan. Hogan stands up and stares down Joe. Joe smirks and rolls into the ring to await his opponent*

*Shannon Moore enters the arena to a mild pop*

(Match 1) SINGLES MATCH: Joe Perfect vs Shannon Moore

*Perfect controls the whole match by slowing the pace down so that Moore cannot use his speedy offense. He focuses on the neck of Moore with headlocks and chinlocks as well as clubbing blows and a strong DDT. He hits the move formally known as the McGuilli-Cutter (Running Spin-out Single Arm Neckbreaker). He hooks Moore up ready for the PerfectPlex but instead of lifting him over in the suplex he spins out into a devestating neckbreaker. He covers and gets the three. As he celebrates his victory, Cole stands with a mic inhand*

Cole: Joe, Hulk, whilst you're both out here I have to announce that the match that the two of you agreed to last week will NOT be happening at Revelation. I have tried in vain to get insurance that will cover Hulk Hogan to wrestle. Hulk, I'm sorry...

Perfect: Oh here we go again. Cole, stop looking after your boy. Let him be a man. Although I don't know what kind of man he will prove to be. I mean, what kind of man sells his life to the world to make a fast buck? What kind of man can't keep his wife happy? What kind of man let's his wife run off into the arms of a guy that is the same age as his kids? And speaking of his children...Oh man! What kind of man raises a boy that spends 8 months in jail and a daughter that whores herself out for a career in the music business?

*Hogan is visibly angered*

Hulk: Cole, brother, I don't care if you tear my contract up! Book the match! Either I get Perfect at Revelation or you won't see Hulk Hogan in VCW again...

*With that Hogan throws down the mic, he stares at Cole and tells him to "Book it". He turns his stare to Perfect who is smiling in the ring. The two exchange words and Hogan heads up the ramp*

Cole: Hulk! Where are you going!? OK. OK, you get the match. But it's gonna have to be an UNSANCTIONED MATCH!

*Hogan turns on the ramp and looks at Cole. He nods in agreement with his boss and announce partner. He continues to head to the back regardless*

=======================
--------COMMERCIAL--------

=======================

*As we return from the break Hogan is making his way through the backstage area, when he bumps into Eric Bischoff*

Bischoff: Hulk, come on man. You need to rethink this. You've had one match in the last 3 years! And that was a Tag Match! Joe Perfect is out for your blood. Think about this. Hulk, please?

*Hogan gives Bishcoff the brush off and walks out of the arena. Borash joins Cole on commentary*

[MATCH + PROMO + COMMERCIAL + BACKSTAGE SEGMENT = 15 MINS]

============================

(Match 2) TAG TEAM MATCH: The Deadly Dudleys vs The Dude Busters

Borash: The Deadly Dudleys will face The Usos at Revelation in a match they chose the stipulaton for - a Tables Match.

Cole: That's right JB, The Usos have forced me to overturn two losses at the hands of The Dudleys due to technicalities, taking advantage of VCW priding itself on being fair. At Revelation there won't be room to get a pinfall overturned because the winners will be the first to put one of their opponents through a table.

Borash: Tonight though The Dudleys will face a team that The Usos beat last week, The Dude Busters. Can Bubba and D-Von get a victory like The Usos did last week?

*The match is a close one with The Dude Busers holding their own against the multi-time Tag Champs. Eventually the action breaks down with all four men fighting in the ring. The Usos hit the ring. And attack all four men. They pull out tables from under the ring and postion them in the ring. They shoot Baretta into the ropes and Jey catches him with a Samoan Drop through the table. They grab Caylen Croft and put him through a table with a Double Flapjack. They grab two more tables and lay Bubba and D-Von on them, both Usos head to the top rope and hit stereo splashes through the tables. The Usos stand and survey the destruction as The Dudleys and Dude Busters lay amongst the wreckage of broken tables*

NO CONTEST

[ENTERANCES + MATCH + AFTERMATH = 10 MINS]

=====================

*We go backstage to Christy Hemme*

Christy: I'm joined here backstage with the three remaining men in the Championsip Chase. Gentlemen, the last three weeks you've let your actions in the ring do the talking, now you have the opportunity to say what's on your mind.

Kaval: I can stand here and give you all of the cliches: "It's not about the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" or [to Henry] "The bigger they are the harder they fall" but we all know that Kaval does his talking in the ring. So you just watch me go out there and book my place in that Ladder Match.

Henry: We've all seen what's been happening, for the past three weeks it's been the little guys versus the big guy, Well 5 little men couldn't get the job done. And 4 little men couldn't get the job done. So I don't know how 2 little men are gonna get the job done this week.

Truth: I got one question for Mizark over here: Let's say you make it through to the match at Revelation...How you gonna get your fat ass up that ladder anyways? I may be hurt, but I'm going to Revelation to become the first VCW International Champion whether it's against Kaval or Mark Henry and that's the truth.

*All three men are getting in each others faces*

*Back in the arena, Eric Young comes to the ring*

Young: Last week I beat Suicide in a match where the stipulation was that Suicide would remove his mask if he lost. But instead of revealing himself to the world he hot-footed it out of the arena, renegging on the deal. Micheal Cole I want you to make Sucide remove his mask here tonight.

*Before Cole can do anything Suicide appears on the Tron*

Suicide: You're right Eric, I lost the match and I will remove my mask. But before I do, I want you to agree to one last match against me.

Young: You want one more match against me? OK. Sure. But let's see your face first!

*The camera is in tight on Suicide's head, he peels the mask back to reveal...*

Cole: THE GREAT KHALI!?! Wow! Who'd have guessed.

*Young is going mad in the ring*

Young: Cole! Are you gonna stand for this? This is a joke! There's no way Khali was under that mask!

*Khali makes his way to to the ring wearing the Suicide mask*

Borash: Looks like we're getting "Suicide" vs Eric Young right now. Are you OK with that Mike?

*Cole is too busy laughing to provide an answer*

(Match 3) SINGLES MATCH: "Suicide" (The Great Khali) vs Eric Young

*Young is shouting out of the ring at Cole. When he turns around he is met with a huge chop to the head from Khali. Young gets back to his feet only to be met with a massive headbutt. Khali applies the Vice Grip, Young flailos about trying to get free but eventually succumbs to the move. Khali pulls Eric back to his feet, he grabs him by the neck and slams him down with a Double Handed Chokeslam. He covers and gets the three count*

*The actual Suicide appears on the Tron this time*

Suicide: OK, OK, that was just a little joke Eric. But you did agree to the match and that match will take place at the first ever VCW PPV. And, there - win, lose or draw - I will take off the mask and reveal myself to the world. After all, where better to reveal my face than a PPV called REVELATION?

SPOILER: show

*Goldust enters the arena in full make-up, wig and robe. As he make his way to the ring, Cody Rhodes attacks from behind. He drags Goldust towards the ring but then Cody is attacked by Dustin Rhodes*

Cole: What the hell!?

*Dustin throws Cody into the ring and continues the attack. "Goldust" pulls himself up, takes off the robe and wig to reveal Husky Harris, he watches from the outside of the ring. In the ring, Dustin hooks Cody up in the corner ready to hit the Shattered Dreams. He runs across the ring but stops short of hitting the move. He grabs his younger brother by the face*

Dustin: You. Me. Revelation. One-on-One.

*Dustin does the Goldust breath in taunt as Cody looks on at his brother. Dustin rolls out of the ring and heads to the back with Harris. Cody pulls himself out of the corner and stares up the ramp as his older brother leaves*

SPOILER: show

*Orton makes his way to the ring to boos from the crowd (with the exception of a lone voice that can be heard saying "I'm not sure I buy Orton as the heel in this fued with Anderson")*

(Match 4) SINGLES MATCH: Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes

Borash: These two men are former allies. Randy Orton played a huge part in bringing Cody Rhodes up through the ranks.

Cole: These two men know so much about each other, it should make for an interesting encounter.

*The match flows well. Orton is in control and is stalking Cody ready to hit the RKO when Anderson pops up on the Tron, he is in Orton's dressing room. Orton turns his attention to the screen*

Anderson: What's up Randal? Are you upset that I smashed up your personal belongings? Well let's just say its "not personal, just business". Y'see I took it kinda personally when you black-balled me out of a job that I gave my all for. I took it personally when you made it so that I couldn't provide for my family. But you tell me it's "just business". Well, at Revelation it's not gonna be "just business" when I punch you out in front of a worldwide audience. It's not gonna be "just business" when I beat you to become the first ever VCW World Champion. At Revelation I'm gonna take great personal satisfaction by giving you the ass-kicking that you have deserved for a loooooooooooong, long time.

*Orton motions for Anderson to come to the ring*

Anderson: You don't believe me Randal? Look into my eyes...

*The camera stays fixed on Anderson's face as he stares out from the Tron. Randy stares back. Then someone yells "CUT". Anderson looks to his right*

Anderson: Is that in the can? Yeah? Sweeeeeeeet.

*Randy looks on confused as the Tron cuts to static. Suddenly the crowd errupt. Anderson is in the ring, Orton turns around and Anderson draws back his fist to lay one on Orton. Orton turns to bolt but is rolled up in a Small Package by Cody. The ref counts the three. Cody slides out of the ring leaving Orton shocked on the mat. Anderson is still in the ring, he calls for his mic from the ceiling*

Anderson: One word Randal: Pre-Recorded. See you at Revelation!

*Anderson rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp leaving Orton fuming in the ring*

*Back at ringside with Michael Cole and Jeremy Borash*

Cole: Earlier this week I had the opportunity to sit down and speak to "The Real" Jay Lethal about his injury at the hands of HHH.

SITDOWN INTERVIEW

Cole: Jay, thank you for joining me today. It must be gut-wrenching to think that at Revelation you should have had a shot at becoming the first VCW World Champion having beaten HHH for that right.

Lethal: Of course. Since I was a boy I dreamed of one day becoming World Champion. I came to VCW to accomplish that dream. Now, because of HHH, I will have to sit at home and watch my colleagues make history at the first ever VCW PPV.

Cole: I can only apologise for HHH's actions. He has been heavily fined for his actions against you and others. Jay, the doctors have said you could be out for up to three months.

Lethal: That's right Michael. I was so excited to be here in VCW, to try and make this company the best it could be. I wanted to show the world my talent, I wanted to introduce the world to "The Real" Jay Lethal. Now, not only do I miss out on a shot at the World Title, not only do I miss making hitory as part of the first VCW PPV but I'm also out of action for three months. Words can't describe how pissed off I am.

Cole: Once you return I have granted you a shot at whomever holds the VCW World Championship.

Lethal: I know and I'm greatful for it. I can only hope that when I return HHH has the gold around his waist. To take the title from him would give me great satisfaction. But my ultimate goal is to take HHH out for good - whether he has the belt or not. And he better believe it, because that's REAL!

Cole: Thank you for joining me Jay. Good luck with your recovery.

*HHH sits in his dressing room next to a monitor having watched the Lethal interview*

HHH: Michael Cole, you are supposed to be the owner of this company. You are supposed to ensure the safety of ALL of your employees - including me. Yet you allow someone to run around this arena continually provoking me. I am HHH. I am this company. I am this business. Whoever this guy is thinks that it's funny putting my legacy in jeopardy by costing me a match against Jay Lethal? Look what happened to him...

*The screen shows HHH beating down Lethal with the sledgehammer from 2 weeks ago*

HHH: You think it's amusing playing these mind-games with me? Look at what happened...

*The screen now shows HHH attacking Kelly Kelly, Eve, the EMTs and security staff from last week*

HHH: And then you threaten not only my career, my sanity or my health but my LIFE? You will come to learn what will happen. This Sunday, I will be at the PPV. I will march to my ring and I want you to reveal yourself! And I want you to face me in a match. At Revelation, the mind-games end and "The Game" begins...

*The screen sparks into life again, this time with the message..

SPOILER: show

*HHH is irrate, he grabs the sledgehammer and smashes the TV*

Tiffany: VCW fans tonight sees the penultimate round in the Championship Chase for the VCW International Championship. Three wrestlers remain, tonight, Mark Henry, Kaval and R-Truth will compete in a Triple Threat Match where the first man to be pinned by BOTH of his opponents will be elimnated.

(Match 5) DOUBLE PINFALL TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: R-Truth vs Mark Henry vs Kaval

*As with the last few weeks, Kaval and Truth double team Henry. He is backed into the corner. Kaval runs from the other corner, he cartwheels and hits Henry with a kick to the side of the head. Truth follows up and nails a Clothesline. Henry staggars out of the corner, Kaval springs off the tiop rope and nails Henry with a forearm to the back. Kaval and Truth hit a Double Dropkick on Henry to send him to the mat.

Kaval covers, Henry kicks out at 2. Truth attempts a cover now and gets another 2 count. Henry starts to get to his feet as Truth and Kaval rain down on him with lefts and rights. Henry pushes both men off and sends them halfway across the ring. Truth rushes back in and receives a Clothesline. Kaval takes a more measured approach, he runs at Henry but slides trough the big man's legs. Kaval dropkicks Henry in the back sending him headfirst into the turnbuckles. Kaval mounts Henry and nails a few right hands, Henry pushes Kaval off but he lands on his feet. Kaval rushes back in and nails some more right hands. This time Henry lifts Kaval up into a Gorilla Press. He throws Kaval into Truth who has just got to his feet. Henry covers BOTH men*

Cole: I'm not sure Mark understands the rules of this match. He doesn't need to pin both men, he needs to avoid being pinned by both of his opponents.

*Kaval and Truth kickout at 2. Henry pulls Truth back to his feet but before he can do further damage Truth starts hitting lefts and rights into his stomach and then switching up to the head. Truth hits the ropes and nails the Lie Detector but can only rock the big man. Truth hits the ropes again and tries for the move a second time, Henry move out of the way and Truth goes through the ropes to the arena floor.

Kaval is back up and stalking Henry. The World's Strongest Man swings with a Clothesline but Kaval dodges with a forward roll. He leaps on to Henry's back and locks in the Dragon Sleeper*

Cole: Henry is too big for Kaval to utilise the Body Scissors that usually compliment this Dragon Sleepr.

*The Dragon Sleeper is locked in tight and Henry starts to fade. Suddenly, Henry falls back and crushes Kaval under his massive frame. Kaval rolls to the outside. Truth is back in from the outside as Henry is back to his feet. Henry is back in control of Truth. He nails a Short-Arm Clothesline, pulls Truth to his feet and hits another one. Henry sends Turth into the ropes and flattens him as he rebounds. Henry peels Truth off the mat and hits the World's Strongest Slam. He covers for 1....2....Kaval flies from the top rope and nails Warrior's Way to Henry's back. Henry rolls off Truth, Kaval grabs Truth and pulls him across to cover Henry, Kaval also covers Henry. The ref counts the fall as Henry is pinned by BOTH his opponents*

Cole: I have to hand it to Kaval, that was incredibly intelligent of him.

MARK HENRY IS ELIMINATED

*Kaval celebrates as he makes his way up the ramp. Truth gets to his feet using the corner, his ribs obviously hurt as the ref holds his hand aloft. Henry rushes across the ring and smashes Truth with a splash in the corner. He grabs Truth and nails another World's Strongest Slam. Kaval looks on conflicted. Henry hits the ropes and nails a huge Splash. Shannon Moore rushes out from the back and tries to stop Henry's attack but ends up on the receiving end of a huge clothesline. Henry picks Moore up now. Kaval runs back to the ring. He springs off the top rope and kicks Henry in the back of the head which makes Henry releases Moore. Kaval attacks Henry with kicks and punches giving Moore time to get Truth out of the ring. Kaval nails a solid kick to Henry's head which sends the big man reeling, this gives Kaval time to exit the ring himself. He checks on Truth as the three men make their way to the back*

(Main Event) SINGLES MATCH

SPOILER: show

*Anderson enters to a positive ovation from the crowd*

SPOILER: show

*HHH receives a thunderous boo from the crowd*

Cole: This is a first time meeting between HHH and Anderson.

Borash: As much as Anderson places the blame for losing his job on Orton, rumours abound that HHH also had a hand in the situation. This could make for a fiery encounter.

*The two men have a thrilling and close encounter (not of the Third Kind) that would be deemed "PPV Quality". Both men control the match with heavy offence but neither man can get a pin or submission. Around 15 minutes in HHH hits his signature moves, Facebuster Knee Smash, High Knee strike and Spinebuster. He has Anderson set for the Pedigree. The lights flicker and the Tron lights up with another video*

SPOILER: show

*With HHH's eye taken off the ball, Anderson pulls HHH's legs from under him. He slingshots HHH into the turnbuckle and follows up with the Mic Check as HHH rebounds. Anderson covers and gets the three count. Anderson celebrates, HHH gets to his feet and is once again irrate at having been cost a match. He gets in the refs face before rolling out of the ring turning his attention to Michael Cole. HHH screams in Cole's face, telling him to reverse the decision. When Cole doesn't HHH rips the monitors out of the table and slams them on the floor. He turns over the steel steps and grabs his sledgehammer. He smashes the monitors and breaks the table with the hammer. He is once again in Cole's face. The time keeper approaches HHH to try and intervene but he receives a shot with the sledgehammer. VCW Security swarm the area. With his attention on the guys in front of him, two security personnel manage to grab the sledgehammer from HHH the rest manage to subdue him.

Anderson has been watching all of the action from the ring enjoying HHH's breakdown when he is floored with a chair shot to the back from Randy Orton. Anderson goes to the mat on all fours, Orton lines up and strikes with the Punt but Anderson avoids it. Back to his feet Anderson goes after Orton and the two grapple. More VCW Security hit the scene. They pull Orton and Anderson apart. Anderson breaks through and goes after Orton until the security team bring him back under control. They bundle Anderson out of the ring. We end the show with Anderson, Orton and HHH all irrate and being held back by security as Cole signs off*

Cole: Provocation. Explanation. Deception. Retaliation. This Sunday...Revelation!!

[Intro:
“We’rewolf” by Every Time I Die. A new revamped show intro begins with a montage of Rhino Goring opponents through tables and The Miz hitting the Skull Crushing Finale on Jeff Jarrett. MCMG match highlights from their battles with "The Most Charismatic Team in the Universe" and "The Bogus Journeys" follow along with clips of the British Tigers, Amazing Red, Evan Bourne and briefly touches upon the rest of the roster.]

[Fade in on the announce table.]

Joel Gertner: Well, well, well…if you’ve got an hour I’ve got the power. I’m Joel “Busts more nuts than a peanut factory”…Gertner and I’m here with my co-hosts the Legendary Raven and a guy I found outside the Impact zone scrounging for quarters, Jeff Jarrett..

JJ: That’s J-E-Double-F J-A-

Raven: And I’m the Blue Meanie! Hey, Jeff, welcome to the party.

JJ: That’s real funny, hey didn't I employ you when you were drugged out of your mind?

Raven: Who didn't? Hey, you know it's kind of weird to be back in Montreal, Canada isn't it?

Joel Gertner: Yeah, I heard Canadian fans do it in the cold. Hmmm...We're getting word that DWW World Champion The Miz is coming down to the ring. Apparently he has some things he needs to address...

["Bitches" by Mindless Self Indulgence begins to play and The Miz comes out to a chorus of boos. He makes his way down to the ring and pulls his sunglasses off before taking a deep breath and raising the DWW World Championship Belt high into the air. The mic appears out of nowhere...]

The Miz: Before I say what needs to be said, I’d like to extend my congratulations to someone.

Jeff Jarrett, congratulations on finding a new job so quickly. With any luck you and Kurt Angle’s used-goods will be able to support yourselves on an announcer’s pay for the rest of your below-average generic lives…[The crowd boos and The Miz looks indignant]…don’t boo me. I did Jeff Jarrett a favor by being so specific with our match stipulations. I said he could never step in the ring again, I never said he couldn’t sit behind an announcer’s booth and make-believe he’s still relevant to someone...anyone... somewhere. [Major boos] It’s that kind of thinking that allows guys like Hogan to continue getting work…

You people are hypocrites. You rallied behind Jeff when he wanted to take MY dream away from ME and now you’re angry…angry that I ended a career full of bribery, cheating and back-stabbing of the likes that even Hulk Hogan would be ashamed of. If you want to boo someone, boo yourselves, boo Jeff Jarrett…oh, I know, why not boo Rhino who came down to the ring last week and interfered in my match!

[The Miz pauses a moment and then looks to the back.]

Hey, Rhino. If you’re back there listening to this, I want you to know that sucking up to me isn’t going to get you aaaany closer to my title at SummerBANG! I always knew you were a stupid jock but, I didn’t peg you as the kind of bottom-feeding ass-licker to turn on your own friend just to get closer to my belt!

[“Bring the Pain” by Method Man hits the speakers and Rhino appears at the entrance way in street-clothes, a mic in his hand and a full beard going on (not yet to Mike Knox’s legendary status). He pulls the mic up to his mouth and prepares to speak]

The Miz: I didn’t ask you to co-

Rhino: Miz…shut the fuck up for one second. [The crowd goes crazy and the Miz looks upset.]

I don’t need your approval…last week, Jeff Jarrett came to my house and set his sights on that belt. Miz, I want that belt…I said I’d do whatever it took to get that belt from off your waist and that is a promise I intend to keep. Am I sorry that it cost Jeff Jarrett his livelihood? No. He would have done the same thing to me if the tables were turned...

[Cut to the announce table]

JJ: I can't deny that...

[Rhino continues.]

Rhino: If you live by the sword, you will die by the sword. Maybe, that's something you should think about Miz, while you're standing there taunting Jeff.

[A sinister smile crosses Rhino’s face, he lowers his head and presses the mic to his lips and says:]

Rhino: And after tonight…nothing…NOTHING!!! Will stand in my way. You’re a dead man Miz…count on it.

[Rhino drops the mic’ and exits before The Miz can respond.]

The Miz: Yeah, run away Rhino. You have no clue what you’re in for tonight anyhow. YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO SUMMERBANG![Boos] And even if you did, you'll just end up like Mysterio. [The crowd is enraged.] Mysterio who is going to come out tonight to openly retire because of the beating I gave him earlier this month. That's two careers I've ended this month alone...fuck Randy Orton!

Voice: Will you ever get over yourself?

[John Morrison appears on the Wrong-o-tron with ridiculously large aviators covering half his face.]

John Morrison: You're so predictable Miz. You win, you come out here and put yourself over at the expense of others who have given more than you could ever contribute.

The Miz: Wait just one-

John Morrison: Whatever! I'm not here just for you, I have some news that is going to affect the pay-per-view. See, me and Kofi spoke to Terry Funk after the show last week and protested the decision to keep the...MOST CHARISMATIC TEAM IN THE UNIVERSE..'S absence in tonight's match up between Paul London and Alex Shelley.

Kofi Kingston has been added to the match-up and if he wins [chuckles] the choice will be ours.

The Miz: Nobody cares about your stupid tag title match you mor-

John Morrison: God, Miz, you don't even realize just how predictable you are!

[The Wrong-O-Tron goes black and suddenly John Morrison emerges from the crowd and slides into the ring. Miz is caught off-guard as Morrison nails him with a spin-kick to the back of the head. The crowd goes crazy. Morrison grabs the DWW World Title belt and holds it up to a chorus of cheers from the Canadian crowd. As Miz recovers, Morrison makes a timely exit from the ring. The Miz is enraged and begins chase.]

JJ: I did not see that coming!

Joel Gertner: Neither did Kurt Angle I bet.

Raven: Our opening match is about to begin. It's Amazing Red opposite JTG for a spot in the #1 Contender Tournament at SummerBANG!

MATCH SUMMARY:

Amazing Red dominates the match through speed and innovative aerial attacks with JTG only managing to take control of the match with sparsely. Amazing Red wins with the Code Red (Leg trap sunset flip powerbomb from the top rope).
7 minutes 21 seconds

POST MATCH:
JTG grabs Alicia Fox and begins to berate her about her kiss with Rhino last week and her lack of involvement in the match with Red. Things look to get violent when suddenly Red sprints back into the ring and hits JTG in the back with a missile drop-kick. Amazing Red and Alicia Fox leave together while JTG is left stunned by his poor luck.

Joel Gertner: Now we have the team of Homicide and Evan Bourne versus the team of MVP and Shark Boy in a #1 Contender Qualifying match. Whomever is pinned or submitted will have to sit the tournament out.

JJ: I'm told there will be a few surprise entrants to the tournament who have already qualified for the tournament.

Joel Gertner: The Boss likes keeping us on our toes...and it looks like this match is set to go.

MATCH SUMMARY:

MVP looks grave as he follows Shark Boy to the ring. Homicide and Bourne enter seperately. The match starts off with Bourne and Shark Boy trading aerial moves and ranas for a good 5-6 minutes. Bourne tags Homicide in and when Shark Boy goes to tag MVP he finds that he has been left to the wolves.
MVP walks back up the ring leaving Shark Boy to face his opponents 2-1. Homicide nails the Gringo Killah on the distracted Shark Boy then puts him in a Rear Naked Choke for the submission. Homicide then continues the choke, pushing the ref aside and having to be physically pried off Shark Boy by Evan Bourne who is pissed off by the unsportsmanlike conduct.

Homicide storms off having ensured his spot in the tournament.
8 Minutes 23 seconds

POST MATCH:

Shark Boy recovers and heads after MVP catching up with him back-stage. They brawl. Homicide comes from behind and for the second time of the night chokes him out. MVP tells Shark Boy that their partnership is over and that he is done living at the bottom.

[Cut to the announce table]

JJ: That's pretty low right there...

Raven: MVP and Homicide are both on a roll. Maybe this change in attitude is just the spark they need to get to the main event.

JJ: It's a road you and I know better than most Raven, and there sure are a lot of consequences for that kind of life.

Joel Gertner: Rey Mysterio is making his way to the ring!

["Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee begins to play and the Canadian audience comes alive. Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring donning a blue-mask, shaking hands and greeting fans along the way. After a while he climbs into the ring and solemnly enters. He pulls a microphone up to his mouth and begins.]

Rey Mysterio: First, I just want to thank everyone who wrote and prayed for my well-being. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. You guys are the life-blood of this industry and it really touches me that you care so much about me. [The crowd begins to chant his name]

So when I found out that I might never be able to wrestle again, it hurt me more than I can say. I wanted, more than anything to be here last week and to wrestle at SummerBANG!

This is a good news/bad news situation. The good news is that my doctors believe that I'm on track to return by SummerBANG! and that the problems I've had since The Miz injured me are not going to be permanent. All I have to do is be careful and take care of myself until then. The bad news?

The bad news is I saw what Homicide did to my friend Shark Boy and I can't just stand here and let that kind of slap in the face go down unanswered. Homicide, get your ass out here and fight like a man.

[Mysterio drops the mic and waits. It's not long before his request is answered. The lights go out and there is the cacophany of lights of hundreds of flash-bulbs going off in succession. When the lights return, Homicide is standing over Mysterio with a lead pipe in his hand. A ref rushes down to the ring and Homicide demands they ring the bell. Mysterio recovers slightly and calls for them to start the match and the ref consents.]

MATCH SUMMARY:

Homicide dominates the seemingly injured Mysterio but, falls prey to a classic comeback which sees Mysterio nail a chain of devastating moves on the lesser experienced Homicide. Mysterio nearly forces Homicide to tap in a rolling Mexican surfboard and then finds himself victim to the 619 and the West Coast Pop!

[Cut to backstage where Jeff Jarrett is standing with the Murder City Machine Guns.]

JJ: Alex, Chris...it's so good to see you again.

Alex Shelley: Hey, we're just happy our last paychecks cleared!

Chris Sabin: Yeah, paying your rent is a positive experience.

JJ: Yes it is err...I'm here to discuss some of the changes made by DWW Owner and Founder Terry Funk.

Alex Shelley: No worries Double J, Kofi Kingston is more than welcome to join me and Paul London tonight. It's not going to change a thing.

JJ: What about the British Tigers?

Chris Sabin: What about the who-what?

JJ: Terry Funk made the announcement earlier today that if the British Tigers win tonight they'll be entered into your World Tag Team Title Match at SummerBANG!

Chris Sabin:
żQue?

Alex Shelley: The British Tigers aren't booked tonight, what are you talking about?

Chris Sabin: Shit, 'lex it's time for your match...

POST MATCH:
London gets on the mic and announces that at SummerBANG! the DWW World Tag Team Titles will be decided in a Three-way ladder match. His announcement is interrupted by the British Tigers. Rob Terry gets on the mic and tells all 6 men that if either he or Magnus is successful tonight, it’s going to be a four-way ladder match at SummerBANG, no one seems very happy about that announcement. As they exit the ring area The Miz comes sprinting down the ramp and starts brawling with John Morrison screaming at the top of his lungs at him.

The Miz: Where’s my belt John?!

Raven: The Miz…I’ve never seen him so angry.

JJ: He had his title stolen from him, John Morrison definitely playing with fire tonight.

Kofi finds himself victim to a Skull Crushing Finale that leaves him lying on the steel ramp unconscious. The Miz grabs Morrison by his hair and drags him backstage. The cameras follow.]

The Miz: Motherfucker, where’s my belt?

John Morrison: Fuck you! [Swings and nails a right hand to the mid-section of The Miz.]

Joel Gertner: It doesn’t look like they’ll be having a match tonight. More like an unsanctioned street-fight.

[Miz with a high knee to neutralize Morrison, then drags him down the halls to the locker room. Slams Morrison’s head into the door then throws him inside.]

The Miz: Where is it?!

[John Morrison answers with a shoulder-block smashing The Miz into the wall. Several rights and lefts later The Miz regains control with a face-rake and follows it up with several left hands of his own opening Morrison up. The Miz starts checking out lockers, trying to figure out which one is Morrison’s. Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere Evan Bourne comes sprinting across the locker room with the DWW World Title Belt in his hands. He nails The Miz with the belt after taking a mind-blowing leap off a bench nearly 10 feet away. The Miz goes down hard and Bourne leaps to his feet draping the belt across the chest of the champ.]

The fans are tossing trash into the ring now, the ref halts the ten count as Rhino is lifted into the air for a double-suplex by Primo and Neal.

[Cut to the announce table. Raven stands up.]

Raven: This bullshit has got to stop.

[Raven sprints down to the ring and enters much to the surprise of all. First Primo goes down to the Evenflow DDT, then Jesse Neal. As Magnus enters the ring, Raven stands up a chair and puts him face-first onto the steel with a drop-toe-hold. The fans are shitting their pants with excitement. Then Rhino charges forth for a snap belly-to-back suplex over the top rope onto a steel chair. Rhino makes the slow crawl for the cover. Terry gets an arm up at 2 4/5 and the crowd groans in displeasure.]

Joel Gertner: Holy shit! This has turned into a fucking circus!

JJ: Does Rhino even have anything left? Does anybody down there?

[Rob Terry gets to his feet and catches Rhino for the choke-slam, Rhino counters with a kick to the groin. Rhino whips Terry into the ropes and comes off with a picture perfect GORE GORE GORE! He makes the cover. 1, Magnus is up, 2, Raven hits the Evenflow on Magnus, 3. The ref calls for the bell.]

Match #1
Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
The following six man tag team contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit. Introducing first weighing in at a total combined weight of 812lbs the team of Ezekiel Jackson, David Otunga and Shad Gaspard.

The three men come out and Ezekiel Jackson and Shad Gaspard look disenfranchised as they walk down the ramp as David Otunga walks down the ramp backwards trying to encourage both me but the seems to be having none of it.

Kevin Nash
Here comes TIW’s resident jobbers.

Josh Matthews
It’s such a shame that the team of Jackson and Gaspard can’t seem to find a rhythm in that ring because they have all the physical tools to be dominant. They showed some great flashes last week against AJ and RVD but they just can’t get it together.

Kevin Nash
That’s what Otunga is trying to get out of these boys but they’re not listening, and why should they what has Otunga ever done.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
Coming to the ring at this time weighing in at a total combined weight of 743 lbs the team of Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus!

The three of them walk down to the ring and when they come down the stand in front of the announce table and stare at Kevin Nash before they all head into the ring.

Kevin Nash
Otunga’s boys probably don’t stand a chance against those three but come Back to Basics the Wolf Pac will show Dolph and Drew not to get into a gang fight with the likes of us.

Josh Matthews
That’s just one of the matches that have been signed for Back to Basics Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre will face Scott Hall and Sean Waltman, and after this match Mick Foley will announce who will compete against AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam for the World Tag Team Championships.

David Otunga, Ezekiel Jackson & Shad Gaspard versus Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus
Otunga and Dolph will be starting things off for their respective teams. Otunga starting off to give his team some confidence. Dolph and Otunga do a lot of mat wrestling transitions until Otunga bails to the outside to catch a breather as he doesn’t have the upper hand. Otunga slips in the ring and tries to calm Ziggler down while simultaneously trying to put his team at ease before Ziggler tags in Drew McIntyre and Otunga tags in Shad. McIntyre hits a drop toehold and moves in for an immediate pin, but only gets two. Drew has an armbar on Shad now. Shad, while still in the armbar hold, hoists Drew up and slams him down to break the hold. Sheamus and Jackson both just tag in and fight to the floor. While on the floor, Jackson grabs a chair and head into the ring frustrated by all the losing as of late. He goes to knock out Sheamus but Shamus his the Broge Kick sending the chair into his face.

As he’s falling down from the impact Shad tags himself in. Shad looks to give Sheamus a pounding but Sheamus tags Dolph back into the ring. Dolph takes the clubbing that Sheamus was supposed to take. Gorilla press slams him and begins to posture to the crowd as Otunga yells at him to stay focused. He’s right to complain because Drew comes in and attacks him from behind. Otunga is shown looking on with a look of disgust on his face. Ziggler lock in a sleeper hold onto Shad but is hoisted into the air and back body dropped. Drew comes in to help Dolph. Otunga and Jackson use the opportunity to attack the other. Everyone from both teams, except Otunga are brawling, Otunga is only not brawling because he is tossed to the outside. When Ziggler sees Otunga getting away without a beating he goes out their to deliver it to him. Things finally settle down and Otunga and Drew McIntyre are the two legal men in the ring. Drew easily out wrestles Otunga and then hits the Future Shock DDT Sheamus and Ziggler preemptively attack Shad and Jackson and Drew gets the pin.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre & Sheamus

After the match Sheamus asks for the mic and he Dolph and Drew stand in the center of the ring as the cascade over them. Before he speaks the opposing team backs up the ramp and Otunga tries to keep the other two behemoths from fighting amongst one another.

Sheamus gets on the mic and says that he’s going to do his talking later on tonight when he’s face to face with Christian. He then says this time is for Dolph and Drew to get something off their chest. Dolph is the first to take the mic and he shifts his attention to Kevin Nash who is sitting at the announce table. Dolph says that the Wolf Pac music can play a million times but he and Drew know that Scott Hall and Sean Waltman will never show up. Dolph says that the reason why they’re called “The Outsiders” is because they no show so many events they can’t even find their way to the arena. He then hands the mic to Drew.

Drew goes on to say that he, Sheamus and Dolph have checked every alehouse, bar, beer garden, bistro, cocktail lounge, drinkery, pub, public house, saloon, tavern, and watering hole in the Cleveland Area and they’ve seen no sings of “Last Call” Scott Hall and “Coat Tails Rider” Sean Waltman so they’re positive that neither for them are in the are in the arena. Drew says that since neither arew in the arena he knows neither of them will show at Back to Basics to it’ll be nice to have the PPV off.

Dolph shakes his head and asks for the mic. Dolph then says that if Scott Hall and Sean Waltman don’t show up to the PPV he’ll drag Kevin Nash’s old ass into the ring and make his legs match and put both in a cast. The three of them then exit the ring and walk up the ramp.

Kevin Nash
We’ll see come back to basics.

Segment #1
Inside Mick Foley’s office he is sitting at his desk and AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam are standing before him. Mick Foley tells them that he has finally made a decision on who the two of them will be facing at Back to Basics. Before Foley can tell them who their opponents will be Rob Van Dam interrupts and says that he will fight anyone. He than says that they should set up a gauntlet match at Back to Basics to he can show everyone in the world that he’s the best tag team in the world. He says he wants to face every tag team one after another and show them why Rob Van Dam…. And AJ Styles arte the best tag team in the world.

AJ doesn’t look to happy with RVD’s boasting. He says that they can beat any tag team in TIW but not every tag team in a row. RVD counters by say that AJ just needs to be a little bit more like Rob Van Dam and have a little bit of confidence. AJ takes offense to this and they begin to argue.

Foley interrupts the two of them and says that at Back to Basics they’ll only have to face one team, and that team will be… Beer Money Inc. walk into Foley’s office claiming that they are the best in the world. Rob Van Dam says that he can beat both of them back to back. Beer Money seems keen with the idea of a 1 on 2 handicap match tonight but AJ says that RVD is being arrogant and he wants a piece of Beer Money before Back to Basics. Foley then sets up Robert Roode vs. Rob Van Dam, and AJ Styles vs. James Storm, and those matches will be next.

Vignette #1
Ted DiBiase Jr. and Michelle McCool appear to be at a fancy party. DiBiase Jr. is wearing a tuxedo and McCool is wearing a flowing sequin gown. DiBiase is taking into the camera saying that he grew up having anything money can buy, but money can’t always take away the little annoyance in life like rude people, long lines, poor drivers ect. He says that sure he could financially ruin rude people, he could pay off people that make up long lines to get to the front, and he could grease the palms of local law enforcement to have the cars of slow people impounded. These, he said, are solutions but a man of his financial status deserves quick solutions and that’s why he has Sheffield. Skip Sheffield steps into frame also wearing a tuxedo. DiBiase Jr. begins to talk about the merits of Sheffield and how he no longer calse him skip because Skip is a child’s name and he needs Sheffield for important activities that only a man can take care of. As he is talking about the virtues of Sheffield one of the patrons of the party bumps him causing Ted to spill champagne on his tux. DiBiase Jr. looks angry and gestures to Sheffiled who then grabs the man that bumped into Ted and beats him up in the back ground. As the man is being beaten up Ted says “Like my dad used to say ‘Everybody has a price’ but is that a bad thing? I don’t think so.”

Nattie pleads with him but Hernandez just stands there. She then talk about how he could be next it DiBiase wants to buy something of his or if DiBiase Jr. is willing to put a hit on him like he did on her. Hernandez then begins to yell at her in Spanish and Nattie Neidhart scurries away.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first accompanied to the ring by James Storm wrestling out of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada weighing in at 240lbs Robert Roode.

Robert Roode and James storm make their way to the right.

Josh Matthews
Last week Beer Money Inc. had a very impressive win against Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez and I think it was that win that earned them their tag title match at the PPV. I think it was the best possible opponent Mick Foley could have picked.

Kevin Nash
I know a thing or two about tag team wrestling and this team has the advantage. They’re talented and established. Van Dam and AJ are great wrestlers but Van Dam seems as though he’s looking to prove something which might get in the way of winning matches.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
Now coming to the ring accompanied by AJ Styles wrestling out of Battle Creek, Michigan weighing in at 237lbs Rob Van Dam!

Robert Roode versus Rob Van Dam
The two men start the match off with chain wrestling until Roode gives RVD a thumb to the eye and takes him down and puts the boots to him. Roode nails a nice vertical suplex for two and then clubbed him in the back of the neck. Roode works over RVD in the corner and then choked him with his boot. RVD comes back with a kick to the gut and some forearms but then Roode nails a dropkick. Roode chopped away at RVD in the corner, and then chopped him in each corner but RVD hit a shot to the gut and threw Holly to the outside. RVD pulled Roode shoulder first into the ring post and then tossed him back inside and covered for just one. RVD works the shoulder and then hits a back suplex for two. RVD locked in an arm bar on Roode and when Roode broke it, RVD came back with a huge clothesline for two.

Roode comes back with some huge chops but RVD drops him with a spinning wheel kick. RVD goes back to the shoulder with an inside key lock but Roode comes back with a back body drop. Roode nails some back elbow knockdowns and then hit the full nelson slam for two. Roode hits a clothesline in the corner, and then did the same in the other corner. Roode hits the Northern Lariet but only gets a two. RVD went for a wheel kick but Roode blocks and then nails him and covers for another two. He whips Storm into the guardrail, but gets hit with a belly to belly and a tilt a whirl backbreaker by Storm. AJ throws Storm shoulder first into the ring post and ends up back outside as AJ hits a slingshot over the ropes into a double sledge shot. AJ throws Storm back into the ring and Storm fights back but AJ flips out of a suplex, then hits a dropkick to put Storm down. AJ puts him in a rear headlock, and fights off an head lock attempt, but gets caught with a belly to back suplex, and both guys are down. Storm counters the Styles Clash into a backbody drop, and tries the the Eye of the Storm, but AJ slips out and hits a Pele kick, then goes to the top rope. Angle runs after him, and AJ leapfrogs him, but Angle goes up top and hits a moonsault! AJ once again gets out of the head lock and goes for another springboard but gets caught, and hits Storm back and connects with a springboard reverse DDT. Ted DiBiase Jr. and Michelle McCool are sitting in the front seats of a convertible Rolls Royce with Sheffield sitting in the back. While driving Ted DiBiase Jr. talks to the camera that being rich isn’t necessarily about having the finest things in life but having more of everything than anyone. He talks about in professional wrestling everyone is looking to win the World Heavyweight Championship but he’s rich and he deserves more. Where as most people aspire to one championship belt he aspires for two. With the services of Sheffield DiBiase will posses the Tag Team Championships so he can have two championships whereas the winner of the Back to Basics main event will only have one. As he’s talking he stops behind someone at a traffic light. The light turns green but the person in front of DiBiase Jr. doesn’t move. DiBiase Jr. honks the horn and the guy behind him just flips him off. DiBiase motions to Sheffield who gets out of the car and drags the man in the car in front out of his car. As Sheffield beats this man DiBiase says to the camera “My dad always used to say ‘Everybody’s gotta pay’ but some of us are willing to pay a little more.” Just before the vignette ends Sheffield powerbombs the man onto the hood of his own car.

Segment #3
Nattie Neidhart knocks on the door of a locker room. She walks in and Andro is laying on a lounge chair as Melina and Miki feed him grapes. Nattie asks them if they’d be willing to help her take out Ted DiBiase Jr. Andro gets up from his lounge and stands uncomfortably close to Nattie. As he talks slowly in a whispering growl he plays with her hair. He tells her that he hates what people like Ted DiBiase Jr. stands for. He said DiBiase Jr. stands for buying people and that’s not freedom. Andro goes on to say that The Rainbow Coalition is about freedom of expression and all races coming together to make a better more free world. He then agrees and says that at Back to Basics he and Miki will take on DiBiase Jr. and Sheffield because of the principal. He even does her one better and says that Miki will take on DiBiase Jr. later on tonight. Andro then offers Nattie a spot in The Rainbow Coalition because he says they need someone like her. She seems put off by this and leaves their locker room.
Time: 3:00

Segment #4
Christian is sitting in a director’s chair in the middle of the ring with an empty one to camera right of him. Christian welcomes everyone to the TIW’s first edition of The Peep Show. He talks about how he is going to face Sheamus at Back to Basics for the first ever TIW World Heavyweight Championship. He then shows the fans how we got to this point. A video of the ending of the match from two weeks ago shows Christian winning a triple threat match against AJ Styles and Rob Van Dam showing Christian hitting the Kill Switch on Van Dam to pick up the win. Christian than asks to show how Sheamus earned his shot. A video of the hard hitting effort between Sheamus and Joe ending with the entrance of The Undertaker who hits Sheamus disqualifying Joe. Christian then asks for his guest on The Peep Show to come out, Sheamus.

Sheamus walks to the ring all by himself scowling at Christian.

Kevin Nash
Christian better be careful there is no telling where his two friends are right now.

Sheamus gets in the ring and is welcomed by Christian. Sheamus doesn’t seem to care and sits down beside Christian. Christian then ask Sheamus about his match last week and Sheamus says it was a difficult match but the best man won, and that was never in doubt. Christian then questions if Sheamus would have one the match if Joe didn’t leave the ring to stop the time limit from expiring. Sheamus is dismissive of this. Christian than asks him how he can call what he did a victory since he didn’t pin or force Samoa Joe to submit. Sheamus dismisses this and asks him Sheamus has ever pinned anyone in TIW. Christian goes on to talk about how he pinned Sheamus three weeks ago he pinned Sheamus, last week Samoa Joe got disqualified and how tonight he didn’t even pick up the victory for his team against the three biggest jobbers on the roster. Sheamus than says “You talk about biggest jobbers on the rosters how about you taking the easiest match imaginable last week in Vladimir Kozlov.” Christian counters by saying “I actually earned my spot at Back to Basics, how about you?” Sheamus than says that he earned his shot as well.

Samoa Joe’s music hits and he walks out onto the stage. He finds this hilarious that either of the two men in the ring believe they really earned a shot at the title. Joe then says he won two handicap matches two weeks in a row, choked out The Undertaker and was only a matter of time limit that he didn’t choke out Sheamus to get that shot. Sheamus than counters by saying that he was never going to tap to the rear naked choke. Joe than states that it’s kinda hard to tap out when you’ve passed out. Joe says that he has The Undertaker to deal with but The Undertaker is just and means to an end. He goes on to say The Undertaker is the biggest name in the industry but The Undertaker is 90% mystique 10% wrestler. Joe then goes on to say that “This Is Wrestling” and in wrestling wrestlers wrestle. He says at Back to Basics he’ll take out The Undertaker because to management and the fans beating The Undertaker means something but to him The Undertaker is just result of creepy music, flames, a fog machine, a trench coat and a hat and the man inside that trench coat and hat has ceased being a great “wrestler” years ago.

“What does this have to do with either of us, fella?” Sheamus asks.

“Don’t interrupt him. I like this one. This is the one where the man facing off against the Deadman talks about how he is not afraid. How not being afraid of The Undertaker is the secret. I love this one but it’s on all the time and the ending is always the same. In the end they all lose to The Undertaker.”

Joe laughs at this and then explain that this has to do with the both of them because Joe wants to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the best wrestler in TIW. He goes on to say that at Back to Basics one of them will become the TIW World Heavyweight Champion and for that reason they are both of value and a victory against them is of greater value. Sheamus then protests saying that Joe never beat him and Joe easily dismisses this by saying “I felt you in that choke… you were going out. You know who won last week even if the official results say other wise.” Christian then says Joe never beat him to which Joe agrees but he says that tonight he’d like to solve that little technicality. He challenges him to a match in the main event tonight. Sheamus seems all for it and goads Christian into taking this match tonight but Christian doesn’t need much goading and agrees to take the match.

Segment #5
Ezekiel Jackson and Shad Gaspard are sitting in the locker room watching the monitor as David Otunga walks in. Shad asks in David was watching this segment at all and says that the rest of the roster thinks they’re one big joke. Ezekiel says “Well we have lost 3 of 3 matches.” David Otunga scolds him for this and says that that will all change at the PPV because at Back to Basics the two of them will be facing Vladimir Kozlov and a mystery opponent. Ezekiel then says that no matter who they face it won’t matter they’ll still lose. Shad says he’s sick of the losing garbage. Otunga says that’s the spirit but is cut off by Shad who says that Otunga hasn’t helped them a lick since becoming their agent. Otunga says that he guarentees victory at Back to Basics or they can fire him. Shad agrees to this.
Time: 2:30

Match #4
Miki and Ted DiBiase Jr. are already in the ring. Andro, Melina and Nattie are in Miki’s corner and Sheffield and McCool are in DiBiase Jr’s corner. Before the two of them are about to lock up DiBiase slips out of the ring and pats Sheffield on the back and tells him to go in the ring. Sheffield enters the ring and the match begins.

Miki versus Sheffield
Sheffield and Miki trade punches to start off and Miki nails a big dropkick that doesn’t knock Sheffield down. Miki tries for a cross body but gets slammed to the mat. Miki is allowed to get up by Sheffield as Sheffield toys with Miki. Miki then kicks Sheffield in the head a few times, and Sheffield gets mad and battled back with a punch, only for Miki to drop kick the knee run agaust the ropes and hit another drop kick knocking Sheffield down. Miki hits a splash for a two count, then delivered a forearm to the back after applies a sleeper, but Sheffield breaks out with a back suplex.

They fight and go to the floor, and Miki hits a crossbody off the apron on the outside. Miki rolls into the ring and Sheffield follows him. Miki goes to the top rope and jumped into a Sheffield powerslam. Sheffield hit a series of clotheslines and a backdrop, then hit a flying tackle. Sheffield hit a hiptoss and a side suplex into a powerbomb. Sheffiled drops an elbow. Sheffield runs into a Miki dropkick and Miki goes to the top rope again and gets stopped at the rope. Sheffield then plants him with an Over the Shoulder Bolder Holder.
Winner: Sheffield

After the match Sheffield sets Miki up for another Over the Shoulder Bolder Holder and that’s when the members of the Rainbow Coalition hit the ring. DiBiase Jr. and McCool stay out of the ring and watch Sheffield hold his own until the call him out of the ring. As Sheffield, McCool and DiBiase Jr. head up the ramp Sheffield gets on the mic and says. “We’ll see you at Back to Basics. My dad used to say that The Million Dollar Man always gets his way. Well I’m his son to I really always get my way.”
Time: 8:00

Match #5
Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 10 minute time limit coming to the ring at this time wrestling out of El Paso, Texas weighing in at 215lbs Chavo Guerrero

As Chavo comes down to the ring the video of last week’s assault of Chavo by Hernandez is shown.

Josh Matthews
Absolutely disgusting actions by Hernandez but we’ve just been informed by the office of Mick Foley that at Back to Basics Chavo Guerrero will be taking on Hernandez in a Texas Death Match in which there are no rules and after a pin fall the opponent will have 10 seconds to get to their feet. And we are being told that Chavo asked for this match.

Kevin Nash
Guerrero may mean warrior but it definitely doesn’t mean genius because that is a match that Chavo simply cannot win.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
And his opponent coming to the ring at this time wrestling out of Moscow, Russia weighing in at 302lbs Vladimir Kozlov.

Chavo Guerrero versus Vladimir Kozlov
Chavo hits a plancha to the floor to open the bout. Once back in the ring Cavo tries to use his speed and does it well for a few moments util he’s drilled by a Kozlov head butt. Chavo gets brutalized until finally he came back with an inverted atomic drop and several clotheslines. Chavo hit a two count off a springboard DDT. Chavo set him up for Gory special but wasn’t strong enough. At that time Hernandez rushes the ring wearing a bandana wrapped around his head and around his mouth. He clubs Chavo tosses him to the outside and boarder tosses him through a table getting Vladimir disqualified.
Winner: Chavo Guerrero

Kozlov leaves the ring area wanting nothing to do with Hernandez. Chavo is laid out on the crushed Spanish announce table. Hernandez lays a top Chavo and counts 3 on the table. He then snatches a microphone and begins to count to ten in Spanish. After he does this he talks exclusively in Spanish for a minute and then leaves the ring area.

After Hernandez leaves and the EMT’s begin to cart off Chavo Josh Matthews calls Carlos Cabrera over to the announce table.

Josh Matthews
Can you make and sense of what just happened there. Neither me nor Kevin speak Spanish what was that about? What did Hernandez say?

Carlos Cabrera
Wow, I’m still in shock but I know what he said. I’ll clean it up for television but basically he was saying that the Guerrero Family are not a real representation of the Latin American population in the United States. He says they prance around happily being Spanish Uncle Toms trying to make white children smile at the stupid Mexicans and he’s sick of it. He says that at Back to Basics he’s going to give Latin Americans a real Latin American to look up to.

Josh Matthews
Wow, well obviously it goes without saying that the actions of Hernandez is not something top be emulated. Thank you for translating Carlos.
Time: 9:00

Segment #6
Josh Matthews run down the Back to Basic’s card for the audience at home, and it goes as follows…

For the TIW World Heavyweight Championship
Christian v. Sheamus

Samoa Joe v. The Undertaker

Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre v. Scott Hall & Sean Waltman

For the TIW World Tag Team Championship
AJ Styles & Rob Van Dam v. Beer Money Inc.

Mexican Death Match
Chavo Guerrero v. Hernandez

Ezekiel Jackson & Shad Gaspard v. Vladimir Koslov & A Mystery Opponent

Skip Sheffield & Ted DiBiase Jr. v. The Rainbow Coalition
Time: 3:00

Match #6
Josh Matthews and Kevin Nash are hyping up the main event of the evening when The Undertaker’s music hits and he walks down to the ring. He walks over the announce table takes off his hat and puts on headphones and joins the two of them for commentary.

Josh Matthews
What a treat we have The Undertaker here on commentary.

Kevin Nash
Hey Deadman.

The Undertaker
I’m not out here to call a match. I’m out her to watch a match. Joe says that I’m 90% mystique well lets strip away some of that mystique and show him that the feared Phenom is just a man that needs to scout his opponents. And then when he loses he has no excuses.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a thirty minute time limit coming to the ring at this time wrestling out of Tampa, Florida weighing in at 227lbs Christian.

Christian walks to the ring pointing to the crowd very confident.

Ring Announcer: Tony Chimel
And his opponent coming to the ring at this time wrestling out of The Isle of Samoa weighing in at 280lbs Samoa Joe.

Josh Matthews
Joe has been on an absolute tear since the opening of TIW no one has been able to make him give up or pin his shoulders to the mat.

Kevin Nash
Until Back to Basics? Right Deadman?

The Undertaker
He wants to make a name for himself at my expense I’ll give him every opportunity to try. He can’t be the first but he will be the next to fail. I’ve crippled more people than polio and that’s why we’re here. Mick Foley has been dining out on my name for twelve years and all he did to me was get thrown off a cell. If Joe really thinks he can beat me that’ll surely make him famous.

Christian versus Samoa Joe
Joe dominated early on and washed Christian's face with his boot before missing with a running boot to the face. Joe quickly recovered and went back to smash Christian in the face. Christian reverses the overzealous Joe and rolls him up but only for a one count. The two of them then begin to brawl until Joe tosses Christian to the outside. Joe then nailed a suicide dive elbow smash on the floor. He put Christian on a chair, then he hit a running Ole kick to the face and took the guardrail out in the process. Christian took control momentarily with a DDT on the floor, but Joe came back on the offensive in the ring with a sick clothesline. He took Christian to the corner for a Muscle Buster, but Christian slipped out. That didn't affect Joe, who nailed a big boot to the face and running senton splash for a near fall. There was a series of near falls before Joe hit a snap powerslam for a near fall. After Joe head butted Christian to the floor, Sheamus started walking out.

The Undertaker stood up at the announce table and took his headphones off and stepped closer to the ring. Joe gets Christian into the corner and continues to hit him and the ref tries to stop him but Joe in the heat of the moment tosses the ref aside and knocks him down. Joe goes to check on the ref. Christian gets to his feet but then Sheamus gets into the ring and hits the Broge Kick knocking Christian out. Undertaker then hits the ring running Sheamus off into the crowd. Joe then runs to attack The Undertaker and is hit by a chokeslam. The Undertaker then goes back to the outside and just stands there. Back in the ring, Christian gets to his feet first and climbs to the top rope and nails a splash for a two. Christian then picks up Joe and goes for the Kill Switch but Joe locks in the rear naked choke. Christian is able to get to the ropes after a struggle. The two of them begin to brawl until Joe gets a head of steam and dropkicks Christian into the corner. He follows this up with a Muscle Buster for a hard fought three count.
Winner: Samoa Joe

After the match Joe is exhausted in the ring he faces off with Samoa Joe and stares him down giving the throat slit gesture when the lights go out. When the come back on The Undertaker is gone. At this point Sheamus comes back through the crowd this time flanked by Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. All three of them begin to assault Kevin Nash. And as they beat him down Joe and Christian roll to the outside and try to help out Kevin Nash. As the brawl the show goes off the air.

I guess it should also be noted that the poll will be open for two weeks instead of just one since we're heading into the PPV round.

My comments

SCW-Did a decent job this week. Enjoyed the gauntlet match and was actually surprised Punk lost. Also, would have been nice to have Angle/Swagger cut promos but at least u had a video package which is something. The card seems a little small but I'm sure that will get built up at the PPV...

LAW-Improved this week. I have a feeling I know where the Jericho storyline is going but I will keep quiet just in case. Not much to say really, it seemed solid this week. One thing that was interesting: Velvet Skye getting stripped naked by Ryder. That was intriguing yet confusing. The PPV card looks great for what it is.

VCW-Stayed strong. Advanced the storylines and did a good job. Not much to say for this since they've been doing so well. PPV card also looks good.

DWW-Very impressive this week. Rhino/Miz looks like a good match, but the whole Morrison stealing the belt seemed unnecessary. Either way, good luck with SummerBANG

TIW-Well, they had a decent show and good build to the PPV but Christian losing to Joe before his big title match? Seems a bit odd to me, but hey at least it builds Joe up for his match with Taker.

SCW booker here. Hope people aren't put off by the fact that I've only got 4 matches announced for the PPV. Beginning with a brand new company, forming enough feuds and rivalries right out of the gate to fill an entire card seems to be pretty difficult.

As such, beyond the 4 matches I've built up to, I'm ECW'ing the show with some unannounced bonus matches that should be quite good. Quality over quantity I suppose.

A much needed win for Hawkins going into the PPV. I like what you did with Hawkins/Archer, but it was essential that we saw Hawkins hold his own before the PPV. He needs a strong showing against Edge though or all the hard work could be destroyed.

A good progression of the Hardy´s storyline there, but like I said last week, it could be the biggest match on your card, so it´s essential that the storyline will not ruin the match quality, I imagine lots of people will be aying to see that particular match.

The Punk gauntlet was very interesting and I am happy you went with the straight one on one, even though I feel like Punk/Angle would have been the better match. Not have a fixed match for Punk doesn not make use of him going into the PPV though, I dunno how interested I am without knowing how he will be involved.

All in all the matches you have done have been built well, but the card is pretty light and I feel like more people really needed fixed matches (we could have seen Flair/Punk?) to really make a mark on the first PPV. Hopefully more matches will be announced pre-PPV through the company´s website!

LAW

LAW was my favourite lask week because it was kept simple, but I highlighted the need to fill out things a bit more this week and I think that was done in part.

Really enjoyed the Big Show/Tarver spot, think this could make a very intriguing match and makes use of Show´s star power to create a new star. That feud could have legs in it and was a smart move.

The Dinero/Morgan feud is a bit strange in build and did not reallt stick out for me on the card. It seems thrown together and unnatural compared to the other feuds that have been built.

Ryder and Cottenwood, unfortunately, has lost some steam going into the PPV, it needed a strong week to sell me on the idea and did not deliver. It is a pity, because I always enjoy someone getting new life with a new character, but this feud has not won me over.

Will be tuning in to see who the Harts will face and I just hope after their dominance that that surprise will not be disappointing! They have been build well and seem well established.

The boss is intriguing and has my curiosity, but I just don´t know about the tournament. It is a strange mix and think two guys built up to face each other and another two in a grudge match would have filled out the PPV with a few more well built feuds, but it will still be interesting to see how the tourney goes, especially if the boss gets involved and one of your guys ends up corporate, haha.

VCW

I really enjoy the time you have spent building up your main feud, it has been highlighted and kept at the top of the card (as a title fight should be) in spite of arguable higher profile match ups.

I liked Perfect going after the broken man Hogan more that I mentioned last week, that was very nice and really adds a different dimension to the feud, what Hogan will turn up now? Hollywood? Red and Yellow? Street clothes? It is very interesting and I am looking forward to reading how you book it.

Cody and Goldust is the feud that I really wanna see and the GD mark in me wants to see him embrace the character that made him famous and get inside Cody´s head on the PPV. Goldust broke barriers for many characters and I am looking forward to that one too, it has also been booked really well.

Like I said last week, the down sides continue, the Usos and Dudleys look like theyr have nowhere to go after this feud whch takes away from the titles worth, who else wants it? The Usos shoud have been built from the start like they were this week, monsters that provide a credible threat.

I know Young is a joke character in same ways, but losing before a PPV match was needless and has not helped my interest in the match. I want to see one of these guys elevated but getting squashed before the PPV was not a good start to get me involved in the match. And if I don´t care about the match, do I care about Suicide?

Is Lethal off the PPV? No build to a possible appearance? Strange move with only one PPV in the offing, could he be behind some of the things that have been happening, would I even buy that? Or has a talent been left off the inaugural PPV?

You did, however, turn me around on HHH´s wild behaviour, am believing now that whoever this is has got into his head and made him a bit crazy. I am worried though that the lack of build for the other person on TV could hurt the PPV, would it have been wiser to reveal it this week, get the crowd crazy in anticipation of a match?

That being said, your PPV card is stacked and you have shown how it can be filled out with well built feuds and intriguing angles. Definately the best card on paper.

DWW

The grity feel was lost a bit this week, think it became like the other shows in building for the PPV and I don´t think that is necessaily a bad thing. Plenty of good stuff, but mistakes were made.

Why were Morrison and Miz not busy building up their own feuds, the sidetracking was needless this week and took the heat off what they are both involved in. Maybe Morrison and Miz was the way you should have gone from the start?

Either way, Rhino´s build has been tremendous and I really see him as the star of your company, somoone fans can really get behind The GORE feels like the stunner in your promotion and that is something everyone can get excited about.

Misterio is a big star and only bringing him back now for a match on the PPV seems weak and the feud seems contrived, protecting Shark Boy? Not a great excuse for a PPV match.

Really good shout keeping the Tigers out of the ladder match, that match will be AWESOME and the Tigers could have taken it into messy territory. Well built up and presented, looking forward to it.

Some will disagree but the crazy finish to the show made me feel like the PPV will be unpredictable too, I would have loved watching that and maybe that will lead to Raven getting involved with the Tigers in the future? Raven/Rhino vs Tigers would be a cool feud after this PPV if you wanted to go with Morrison/Miz. I just hope you have not taken your eye off this feud too soon. Fans can sense if they are getting short changed on a PPV and Rhino/Miz lack of interaction was worrying this late on.

TIW

The weird storyline involving 3 guys on a minimal roster was always bizarre to me and trying to sell me on a PPV match involving them is even more bizarre. They have been killed off for this PPV at least. Even a win at this PPV will do little to help the rating of this particular PPV. Having three of your biggest stars struggle with them when Joe beat 2 of them by himself is worrying.

As a mark, am looking foward to seeing the Outsiders however and you gave it an interesting approach, but will Ziggler and McIntyre benefit from this match, it will depend on the booking as Hall/Waltan have no pre-PPV build up at all to get me vested in them as they are today.

The Styles/RVD build is great writing and will lead to a great feud, very nicely done. You picked out the most obvious opponents for them on the roster and did not try t sell us late n a match that did not make sense, good job, expect a good PPV match to come from this.

The vignettes are cool and well written and most importantly, each one added something to the angles that were involved, gave us some personalities, which is what they are for. They were also kept short and focus was kept on the ring, which I also liked.

I also really enjoy the fact that you have so many guys at the too who look credible, but to suggest that one champion to be was choked out clean if not for a stoppage and then have the other pinned in the main event, wow, that, for me, really hurt the value of your title match, a mistake.

However, Take and Joe is now a BIG match up and many fans will look to the winner of that one as your biggest star now, which will it be, who will lead the company, is Taker finally gonna have his number called? A great build that has got me really interested.

Chavo and Hernandez is a feud that I was not looking foward to, but is one that I now want to see thanks to how it was booked, and that is a very good thing. Chavo is believable again and that is something I want to see on the PPV, he is a perfect middle champ for your company in the future.

Finally, the feud I really like in Sheffield and Ted has been given new legs. I expected a Sheffield turn and a PPV match, but having them team is great long term booking and could have shades of Batista/HHH when it finally happens. However, for THIS PPV, Rainbow coalition and Ted/Skip will not bring in the buys, or even a good match I fear.

The card is nice though and could be a killer if done the right way, looking forward to it.

Overall

The wait was well worth it and everyone has some good matches lined up. The more stacked cards on paper are obvious but paper could mean very little by the time this is over.

The mix of established stars elevating younger talent was always going to be needed and the imagination that has been used to come up with new characters and original storylines have been great in some places. In my opinion, the winner will be the person who did these two things the best.

Again, congrats to everyone who was involved, am looking forward to reading all the PPV´s!

wow what a coincidence, I used to run an e-fed called KWA and I named the flagship show shocKWAve. And our competition was another e-fed called SCW.

Actually, back in 2005, ABT quit his young C-Fed career because he was too busy with his E-Feds.

The first guy I used was Mr. Clean. He was followed by "Corrupt" Keith Edwards. Both were successful. I won over 25 titles between them.

I recently (well, over a year ago now) killed off my e-fed character of many years (10+ years), as he died saving the world during an epic plot involving mutant clones, time travel, and every member of his illustrious Rogues Gallery.

Anyways, still working on my reviews. Perhaps I will be done today.

Lock Jaw's Fantastic Reviews, Week Four!

Greetings to you, the bookers! Welcome to this week's review from Judge Lock Jaw! Five shows, each with their own merits! But how do they stack against each other when going head to head? Find out using Judge Lock Jaw's unique judging system!

For the purposes of judging, I will be placing each show side by side, as if they were on at the same time. I will be giving out points. 3 for what the causal fan would watch (assuming they have no brand loyalty and are just switching between all shows like me), 2 for what I would watch, and 1 for what I would first watch on youtube the next day. I'll also give a bonus .5 points for one of the other feds, just because I can.

So, without further ado... (under spoilers just to keep it more concise)

Opening Segments

SPOILER: show
SCW has Abyss beat Tomko. Abyss throws his hands in the air and yells KHAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNE!

LAW has Jericho come out and say that he is The Boss' choice, and he will win the world title. Cena comes out and says that he will NEVER GIVE UP and that he will FIGHT FOR HIS RIGHT.

VCW opens with Orton already in the ring, seething mad, calling for Anderson. Through the power of video flashback, we see that Anderson has ruined Orton's locker room, and in a shocking twist has shit in Orton's bag! Anderson comes out and before they can get into it, Michael Cole says they will both be in action tonight. Joe Perfect then beats Shannon Moore in a quick match. Perfect talks smack to Hogan. Cole says they can't have a match because no one will insure Hogan's old ass. Hogan says they are having a match and that's that. Cole gives in and says ok to the match, but that it will have to be unsanctioned (despite him just saying it was ok on live TV, thus making him legally responsible for it).

DWW sees The Miz come out and act evil. Rhino comes out and there is a confrontation. Rhino leaves. Morrison is next to interrupt Miz, and then takes Miz's world title. I like that this is showing the importance of the world title to everybody, but I don't see the point of this angle, especially since Morrison isn't in the world title contender tournament at the PPV (unless he is double-booked).

TIW has SheamIntyggler beat Otunga/Zeke/Shad. McIntyggler then conveys their doubts as to whether Scott Hall and Sean Waltman will appear at the PPV. Hopefully they don't, because no one cares about them anymore.

Verdict:

Casual Fan Watches: DWW (+3 Points)
Lock Jaw Watches: VCW: (+2 Points)
First to get Youtube'd: DWW (+1 Point)
Bonus: TIW (+0.5 Points)

Section #1

SPOILER: show
SCW has Curt Hawkins beat Percy Watson. Edge then makes a return! Hawkins celebrates in the ring, and doesn't notice as Edge jumps the barricade. He then doesn't hear a thing while Edge throws Archer into the steel steps. Hawkins continues to celebrate, and is only made aware of Edge's appearance when he gets SPEARED! Some wonky logic going on here with Hawkins not noticing anything. I would have had Hawkins bail out on Archer, gets Hawkins more heat and leaves you with more tension waiting for Edge to get his hands on Hawkins.

LAW has the Hart Dynasty beat Tatsu and Santino. They then issue an open challenge for the PPV. Interested to see who can possibly go against them.

VCW has The Usos gain some credibility at last as they destroy the Dudebusters and the Dudleys as they are in the middle of a match. However, again, there is some wonky logic going on here. The Usos attack the Dudebusters first, instantly making it four on two, which they logically should lose. If, say, they attacked the Dudleys first, I could see the Dudebusters holding off, or even joining in, only for The Usos to eventually beat them down too. Nevertheless, Usos somehow take down all four and actually look like a threat.

DWW has Amazing Red beat JTG. JTG about to beat Alicia Fox when Amazing Red makes the save and leaves with Alicia. Homicide and Evan Bourne beat MVP and Shark Boy when MVP leaves. Homicide is especially vicious.

TIW: A bunch of segments followed by a match. Beer Money vs AJ/RVD is set for the PPV, with RVD still being arrogant. We see a DiBiase video of him at a party, having Sheffield beat up some guy who bumps into him. We then see Natalya backstage looking for someone to go up against DiBiase/Sheffield. Hernandez turns her down because he is too busy being Mexican. RVD beats Robert Roode.

Verdict:

Casual Fan Watches: SCW (+3 Points)
Lock Jaw Watches: TIW (+2 Points)
First to get Youtube'd: DWW (+1 Point)
Bonus: LAW (+0.5 Points)

Section #2

SPOILER: show
SCW has Heath Slater kicked in the face by Tomko. Dude who was at RAW two weeks ago yelling "I hate you, Heath Slater. I hate you!" is happy. Jeremy Buck then defeats Jeff Hardy after Jeff is taken off his game by more of Matt being a weirdo.

LAW has Barrett talking to Gorman, demanding to know who THE BOSS is. Gorman says they'll all find out... SOON! The Pope is in the ring and talks about Matt Morgan. Matt Morgan comes out and goes crazy, a match is set for the PPV. Not really buying into this match.

VCW has a quick Henry/Truth/Kaval interview backstage. Eric Young is then in the ring, demanding Suicide reveal himself. Suicide appears on the tron, talks his way into a match. The mask is taken off and it is... THE GREAT KHALI! Great Khali comes out and beats Eric Young. Real Suicide appears and is like "LULZ, you got punk'd" and then says he will fight Eric Young at the PPV. He promises win, lose, or draw he will take off his mask. Which again seems wonky to me since he seemed to care so much about it in previous weeks.

DWW sees Rey Mysterio return in a BLUE mask. Rey says he needs to be careful because of his injuries, but then challenges Homicide to a match because apparently Rey is good buddies with Shark Boy (they both have masks). Homicide appears and hits Rey with a lead pipe before their match begins. Rey Mysterio then possibly wins that match. The writing is kind of confusing here and make it sound like Mysterio got hit by a 619 and a West Coast Pop. So either Homicide is mocking Rey, or it was supposed to come across as Homicide being on the receiving end of these moves.

TIW has a match followed by a bunch of segments. James Storm beats AJ Styles, who isn't very happy. We then have another DiBiase Vignette, in which he is inexplicably driving his own car, with McCool beside him and Sheffield in the back. He has Sheffield beat up some guy in the car in front of them. Natalya backstage, find the Rainbow Connection to help her. A match is set for the PPV. Those two promos really got DiBiase/Sheffield over with me, too bad they are facing a team/gimmick I don't care about at all.

Verdict:

Casual Fan Watches: SCW (+3 Points)
Lock Jaw Watches: TIW (+2 Points)
First to get Youtube'd: VCW (+1 Point)
Bonus: DWW (+0.5 Points)

Section #3

SPOILER: show
SCW: To make them actually have a section #3, I have taken the first part of their main event and put it in this section. There is an Angle/Swagger package. Followed by CM Punk making his entrance and a quick promo. Punk beats Darren Young. Punk beats Chris Masters.

LAW has Michael Tarver beat Justin Gabriel. He is about to destroy him when a wild Big Show appears. A street fight is set for the PPV. Zack Ryder backstage stripping Velvet Sky. Eli Cottonwood challenges Ryder for a match at the PPV. So end total: One match that I look forward to seeing, one I don't really care about

VCW: Goldust comes out and is attacked by Cody Rhodes. Cody is attacked by Dustin Rhodes. Goldust is Husky. Husky is Goldust. Goldust is... a man! Anyways, Dustin stops short of shattering Cody's dreams, and challenges him for the PPV. Randy Orton then comes out for a match against Cody. Some mysterious fan still does not buy him as a heel . Cody rolls up Orton after a distraction by Anderson first on the tron, and then in the ring. First time I really felt Anderson as the face.

DWW has Paul London beat Kofi and Shelley. London decrees their triple-threat tag match at the PPV to be a ladder match. After the match The Miz comes out and dominates John Morrison, wanting his title back. They fight backstage. Miz is laid out with a belt shot by Evan Bourne, who gives the title back.

TIW has Christian/Sheamus in the Peep Show having a great back and forth, only to be interrupted by Joe, who makes it known that he thinks of himself as the top dog, and will continue to prove it! A match is set versus Christian for later.

Verdict:

Casual Fan Watches: TIW (+3 Points)
Lock Jaw Watches: TIW (+2 Points)
First to get Youtube'd: VCW (+1 Point)
Bonus: LAW for Tarver (+0.5 Points)

Section #4

SPOILER: show
Otherwise known as the VCW vs TIW bonus section.

VCW has a Jay Lethal interview, saying that he intends to take out HHH when he returns in three months. We then have a Triple Haitch promo, where he challenges the mysterious messages to show up at the PPV. Kaval/Truth/Henry continue their roll of TNA-like gimmick matches, and Henry is eliminated via double-pin. Henry goes on a rampage. Kaval makes the save.

TIW has a Zeke/Shad/Otunga segment backstage. Otunga gets them booked against Kozlov and a mystery partner at the PPV. Guarantees a victory, says they can fire him as their Agent if they don't win. Even though these guy have been jobbers, I gotta say this whole thing is keeping me interested in them. Sheffield then beats Miki in a dominating fashion (but not the type of dominating that Miki would like). Sheffield grabs the microphone and reveals that he is also the Million Dollar Man's son. Totally unnecessary and confusing. Anyways, Chavo then beats Kozlov by DQ when Hernandez beats up Chavo and speaks in a foreign language. Definitely way less excited for this angle/feud then I was for Chavo/Hernandez vs Beer Money.

[b]Verdict:

TIW (+1 Point)
VCW (+0.5 Points)

Main Events

SPOILER: show
SCW continues the gauntlet. CM Punk beats Kazarian. Kane then beats Punk by DQ when Abyss attacks him. CM Punk is not in the PPV... in fact... he's not booked! Punk, nevertheless, vows that he will make an iMPACT! Angle and Swagger then brawl. Gotta say, not too excited about Angle/Swagger. This whole feud doesn't have much steam behind it at all (which is a shame, because it could have). Much more interested to see what Punk is up to.

LAW sees Jericho/Wolfe beat Cena/Barrett as Cena takes yet ANOTHER loss after the lights turn out just as he is about to his the Attitude Adjustment. Apparently he drops Jericho when the lights go off and when they go back on Jericho with the codebreaker and lionsault for the win!

VCW has Anderson beat HHH when Haitch is again distracted by video messages. Makes Anderson, one of the contenders to the world title, and the top face of the company look weak as he was about to lose if not for the video. Anyways, HHH goes banana. Orton brawls with Anderson. Security has a nice day.

DWW sees.... A GAUNTLET! Haven't seen one of those in awhile. Rhino beats Primo. Rhino beats Jesse Neal. Rhino beats Magnus and then beats Rob Terry, somewhere along the line it turns into a cluster****.

TIW has Undertaker out for commentary. Which is kind of lame. I guess the point was to "take away some of the mystique", but the mystique is the whole point of The Undertaker, so taking it away is dumb. Still not buying Undertaker as a heel . Anyways, Joe beats Christian. The ref is knocked out by Joe. Sheamus comes out and Brogue Kick to Xtian. Taker chokeslams Joe. The match continues, though. The ref gets back up, I guess not DQing Joe for knocking him out. Joe eventually wins, which is a huge mistake. Again, it makes your top face contender for the world title look weak, going right into the PPV. It makes Joe look like a million bucks, but he didn't need it right now. Anyways, post-match, Taker vanishes and McIntyggler appears. Then in more wonky logic, instead of attacking the man who is facing their leader at the PPV, SheamIntyggler begin to beat up Kevin Nash. Joe and Xtian for the save as they join the brawl. Should really have been the other way around, with Nash joining the brawl.

Verdict:

Casual Fan Watches: TIW (+3 Points)
Lock Jaw Watches: TIW (+2 Points)
First to get Youtube'd: VCW (+1 Point)
Bonus: DWW (+0.5 Points)

Final Tally:

SPOILER: show
1) TIW: 1.55 + Week 3 "Buzz" Bonus = 1.85 (Up 0.5)
2) DWW: 0.6 (Down 0.2)
3) SCW: 0.6 (Down 0.25)
4) VCW: 0.55 (Up 0.05)
5) LAW: 0.1 (Up 0.05)

I felt that all five shows stepped it up this week for the final push to PPV. TIW once again runs away and dominates, setting a new record for highest rated show, even before their bonus got added. DWW/SCW/VCW all fairly close, while LAW continues to bring up the rear.

And there you have it! No "Buzz" this week, though, I will possibly do a "Buzz"-like review for the PPVs later on.

No, I will not. Still trying to figure it out. It will probably be similar, but different.

I think that would be cool.
