Tag teams that you were mad when they split
I remember shaking my head when Cade and Murdoch got split up. I always felt they came along a few years too late. They worked incredibly well as a tag team and I really enjoyed their matches with the Hardyz and Londrick.

Cade and Murdock were one of my favorite tag teams of all time. I liked their mix of techical skills with Cade and powerhouse with Murdock.
Also, I was upset when the Miz and Morrison split. Though now I am very glad that they split up because of how great the Miz has become. I'm still not sure about how John Morrison will do. Right now The Miz is the Shawn Michaels of this team. I was also upset when the Rockers broke up because i was a huge fan of theirs. I'm not sure why they never officially won tag team championship gold. I also wish that Too Cool were together in their original form for a lot longer. They were super over with their dancing. It is too bad that Brian Christopher was a wreck and ruined his chances of having a real tag team legacy with Scotty Too Hotty and Rikishi. I also didn't like how Deuce and Domino were split up and their manager fired. I liked the gimmick of the 50's style and their music. They weren't the best wrestlers in the world I know, but they were good for what they were used for. On the same note I wish Londrick had a longer time as a team on Monday Night Raw. They were tag champs on Smackdown for a year, but barley had any time as a team on Raw. Other teams: -Money Inc. -Quebeccers -Owen Hart/Bulldog. -Fab Rougeau Brothers. |

Edge & Christian, although it obviously worked out for the greater good.
All those tag teams that broke up at the first draft as well, APA, Dudleys, etc. |

I really liked Pricelss (DiBiase and Rhodes) together and thought that they would excel without Orton. However, I can't complain too much because their implosion was so drawn out and well scripted that at least it was done correctly.
I also liked Jerishow & Showmiz. Both teams could have lasted longer. Cade & Murdoch. I liked this tag team. Reminded me of the good ol' days of tag team wrestling when I saw them. Londrick. They were being wasted on RAW anyways but it sucks because they were the coolest tag team to come around WWE in a long while until they came to RAW and became pussies. |

-When the Dudleyz split briefly in 2002.
-Carlito and Primo splitting was pointless. -The Bashams, although I never was a huge fan of them. -Deuce and Domino were awesome tag partners, and splitting them was stupid. |

Rene' Dupree, Robe' Conway, Sylvain Grenier and FiFi.
I also like the odd team of Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree, they had a killer mashup:- |

Ok I modify my opinion. It is widely regarded as one of the most seamless mash-ups, as far as transitions between the themes, and thus one of the best of all time.

I don't know if I've ever really be upset about a tag team splitting up. I disliked Nash and Hall feuding with each other over the drunk angle when they were so awesome as the Outsiders.
The Dudley Boys split in 2002 was terrible since both men went on to completely and utterly fail as singles wrestlers. |

I liked the acolytes better in the ministry than the APA. Bradshaw is my favourite wrestler of all time and although I was pissed when they split if they didn't there wouldn't have been the awesomeness that was JBL.

Cryme Time. Not because I was head over heels in love with their work, but moreso because of how useless their breakup was. JTG and Shad went nowhere, and they could really be used as solid depth in the division.
Same thing can be said for the Colons. Fuck, they didn't even TRY to push either of them, and they were a pretty solid team. |

In 1990, Davey Boy Smith pulled out of the annual World's Strongest Tag League in All Japan Pro Wrestling to return to the WWF and lied about Dynamite Kid being in a car accident, so Dynamite wouldn't be asked to return as well. Since Davey Boy trademarked the name "British Bulldog," he and Dynamite since have bad blood. Dynamite Kid ended up forming The British Bruisers with Johnny Smith and continued on, until he retired in December 1991, despite wrestling sporadically until his final match in October 1996. And no, this was not from Wikipedia. I learned about this through numerous articles from magazines. |

Well, I know when The Bulldogs had to drop the belts, Dynamite had to pop like 3 percocets just to go out there and stand around mostly. Everytime they went out there towards the end of the Bulldogs run, they had to carry Dynamite all the way through the match. Tom (Dynamite) continued his career afterwards but was never the same and basically could only live off of his reputation from the past. It's actually a really sad story. Even though he continued to work afterwards for awhile, he was just a shell. One thing that kind of broke his spirits also happened when the Rougeaus basically mugged him backstage, beat the shit out of him, and knocked several of his teeth out. Dynamite was used to being in control and was generally a ribber/bully backstage and I think the Rougeau event kind of broke him down.
All of this was from Bret's book. Was really sad reading the downfall of Dynamite as he was Bret's idol pretty much since Dynamite starting working for Stampede. He probably deserved it for all the shit he pulled in the past, but it was still pretty sad to read about. |

Although, I will say I'm not familiar with Dynamite past like 1991. I'm going off the word of Bret Hart as far as the "shell of his former self" thing.

Here's Dynamite Kid's very last match

Honestly, I just watched the first couple minutes of that match and had to stop. Yeah, CSL nailed it on the head, not how I want to remember one of the greatest technical wrestlers ever.

Yep, the match was supposed to be 2 out of 3 falls against Hart Foundation, but the top rope broke, and McMahon didn't want to air it, so the match "never happened" and The Rockers were never recognized as tag champs.

Plus, NBC informed WWF that they wanted a 60-minute Friday Night show, instead of a 90-Minute Saturday Night show, which was also why the match was never televised.

The Rockers, for one. Fond memories...
But something more recent- Cryme Tyme. They were VERY over, and I'm shocked they didn't get a title run. They were great Anti-Heroes who should have stayed together. Cade & Murdoch also come to mind, along with Priceless. They were two talent teams that should have never parted ways. |
