Royal Rumble 2001. Even the match with Chyna was short, sweet and furthered her feud with Ivory.

Honorable mention to Royal Rumble 1988 for the 2 out of 3 fall tag team match with the Jumping Bomb Angels and the Glamour Girls.

Torn here between 2000 and 2003.

2000 had a brilliant undercard. Tazz' debut, Hardyz/Dudleyz tables match, a few fillers and then the incredible Cactus Jack/HHH Street Fight.

2003 had some basic shit but then Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit was an absolute 5 star classic.

1991 is the first one that came to mind because I'm such a huge bitch for The Rockers/Orient Express match. After skimming the list, I'd probably say 2000.

I'm actually gonna say 1996. Very solid matches that had the IC, Tag Team and World titles all on the line

1994 is always what I think of when I think about the Royal Rumble. Taker vs Yoko, while corny, was memorable, and the Bret vs Owen fued really took off from here.

2000, I was really into the street match and the rest of the card only accentuated the whole event. It was in fuckin' MSG and had the Tazz debut as well. No complaints there.

2001 and 2001 were very solid, entertaining shows from top to bottom, but I'll probably have to go with 2003. Mainly for the Benoit/Angle match. The Steiner/HHH match, whilst far from being a technical classic, wasn't as bad as people make it out to be (ok, it wasn't brilliant, but I can tolerate it).

I actually went with 98. Mike Tyson was there, hinting all night that he was going to be on RAW and that he had something to do with Wrestlemania 14. Everyone and their mom was waiting on Austin's music to hit that night, as he was the "human target" in the rumble match.

Vader vs Goldust was a solid match to open the PPV and got everything rolling perfectly.

The 6 man mini match was good, but that's only cause Sunny was the ref.

Rock vs Ken Shamrock was actually a good match, and I did enjoy it. Especially during the dusty finish with the placed knucks in Shamrock's trunks. (Random fact, in 98 Rock vs Shamrock was on all the Big PPV's (RR, WM, KOTR, SSeries) minus Summerslam, that was Rock vs HHH in the Ladder match for the IC Title. Funny how they kept pairing Shamrock with Rock that whole year. (Rock won at RR and WM, and SSeries. While Shamrock's main win vs Rock was KOTR when he beat Rock in the finals.

I totally agree with you. Plus Vader did the vaderbomb on Goldy with Luna Vachon on his back. It's still one of my favorite spots ever.

It has to be 2000 for me, a few of them have one amazing match and a couple of good ones but nothing beats the debut of Tazz (unfortunately the highlight of his WWE career), that table match and the street fight. I fucking love that street fight.

This one got my vote. Tatanka and Bam Bam put on a pretty solid brawl, the Razor/IRS title match was good, and the other two title matches set up huge storylines that would last the rest of the year - the disappearance of the Undertaker as well as the start of the Bret/Owen rivalry after Owen kicked Bret's leg out of his... leg.
