MLB 11: The Show
Comes out March 8th.
I figured I would skip it this year since MLB 10 was extremely similar to MLB 09. But then I read about the improvements to Road to the Show, so I might have to grab it. They finally have gotten rid of the retarded advancement goals and they've developed a system that can rank each at-bat based on what transpired (ie a 9-pitch AB resulting in an out can still net you points, etc.) You can also develop your player the way you want to. You don't HAVE to make your guy a fireballer who gets loads of K's. Performance of players at levels above you also determines whether or not you can get a call-up. They've also tweaked franchise and contract/trade logic. Thank God. Hated seeing so many guys get moved that never would get moved. You could easily pick up Lincecum, McCutchen, Heyward, and any other young stud as the CPU wouldn't offer them arbitration or shit like that. Those are the features that excite me most, but there's other cool new stuff they've added - including more presentation stuff as per usual. Discuss. ![]() |
