Your favorite games in long running series'
What are some of your favorite games in long running game franchises?

Here's a few of mine...

Resident Evil : RE2,the first one is a classic and in style better than all the others, but 2 is just the most fun RE of the series imo.

Final Fantasy - FF7, with 6 in a close second. FF7 edges out 6 because I have a crush on REDXIII

Street Fighter : Street Fighter 2, the SNES version.

Quake - Quake 2, one of my fav multiplayer experiences.

Mario - Super Mario World. I dont think that needs an explanation.

Resident Evil 4 - The whole new system with the wii was amazing. Loved it all.
Final Fantasy 9 - Music was amazing, loved how the black mages looked, Vivi is amazing.
MGS3 - Purely for the boss battle with the end, so tense.
WWE HCTP - FUN
Halo 2 - Introduction to console online FPS for me, it had a great run of being the online
giant.
Zelda Windwaker - First game I completed in the zelda series. The cell shaded graphics
were gorgeous
GTA Vice City - Purely for the era its in.

Hmmph, seems im in a minority here, but while RE4 was ridiculously fun, it just doesnt seem like a Resident Evil game. I want another, hard, tough, survival RE, but it seems that after 4, they have turned more into action shoot em ups instead of the horror games they started out as.
