I assumed The Rock was just coming back for Wrestlemania and was going to join the status of The Undertaker and just make special appearances.

I don't believe he will be back full time. Last I heard, there were discussions he was going to be around off and on through Wrestlemania 29, possibly in a 3 match series with Cena. I don't think he'll be walking away from movies considering he already has future projects lined up, but will continue WWE part time like he has been.

Rumours going around right now is that he is considering coming back full-time, and has already bought himself a new camera to record satellite messages every week.

no way.....he's making too much money in Hollywood to even entertain the thought..... WWE will always be #2 whenever he's in between roles...... same thing as Jericho with Fozzy.....He'll be around for spurts.....

I'm pretty sure he's basically gonna have an Undertaker type schedule from now on. Maybe a SummerSlam match here and there too. Especially with it being in L.A. it seems to fit.
