When you think about the story behind Ryu and Ken, Ken is, overall, a better fighter.

Ryu practices every hour of every day but Ken has a wife, kid and a huge business as well as a yacht he holds parties on.

Ryu practices constantly and can't be better than equal to his friend that has enough time between training sessions to date, marry, have kids, party and be filthy rich.

Ken is so much better than Ryu that he trains much less and is still just as good. Sucks to be Ryu.

I know. It's a point I've had for a while that never came up. This seemed as good a place as any.
