DISCUSSION - Could a Christopher Nolan version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ever work?
Basically, following the same formula as the Dark Knight Trilogies: A beginning, a middle, and a climatic ending. Part I can be about the beginnings of Hamato Yoshi and his rivalry with Oruku Saki. After being betrayed by Oruku Saki and being forced to make love to his penis, the movie can then show how Yoshi moves to New York and is forced to live in the sewers, etc.....and how the Ninja Turtles are ultimately created, brought up, and trained. Part II can be your prototypical Turtles vs. Shredder and henchmen.....and how Shredder is ultimately defeated/killed. Part III can be about the end and/or retirement of the Ninja Turtles. Think it could work? |
