City of Heroes

[Kalyx triaD]

An online PC game where you make a superhero using a WWE games type of creation options. You're then put into a small training regimine and released into a large city. You meet up with other heroes and band together for teams and things like that.

The options you use to make your hero is accurate and has all the comic book cliches and homages. You choose an origin (Science, Mutation, etc.) and the base type of your powers; Wolverine like Scrapper, or Magneto like Controller amongst others. From those options you have more choice of the actual powers.

The look of your hero is very important, and you have much to work with. Your section splits into Head, Upper Body, Lower Body configurations. With a primary/secondary color system ala No Mercy. I can see the Neo wannabes already. From there, you construct the physical look; thin, bulky, nothing new to wrestling gamers.

I haven't played it yet but I'm buying it the second I can. So expect a gameplay review pretty soon. If you're already online in the game, give insight. And be on the look out for Kalyx Triad!
