Taker vs. Punk, who is the hero?
I love Undertaker as much as the ordinary fan, but the question here is: Who is the hero!?

Punk, of course he is young; but as a heel.

Is Taker the hero for sticking it out once a year or is Punk for the days he is healthy?

I would make this a poll, but this is more significant than what a poll can push a button for.

Do you think Punk should end the streak, despite the fact he is young and could tangle with anybody because of his age or...

is Taker the hero here because he can put at LEAST a year of his career on the line because he is twice the age of Punk.

When you think of this, this match is surely to be one of the greatest in history because of reputations: One era of redemption vs. another!!!!!

I thought about this all night and the answer is Punk is more hero-y than Mean Mark b/c he doesn't do drugs, or smoke or drink Zima so he's a hero. Undertaker used to ride a motorcycle so that meant he did smack and raped teenage girls. You think that is hero? Shame on you! Also pushing a button rules. This shoulda been a poll dirtydamn

CM Punk could come out of this match with a fair bit of credibility. If reports that he is taking time off after WrestleMania are true (and even if he's not injured, it wouldn't hurt to allow your talent extended periods to rest up), he could return with a fair bit of fanfare.

Still hoping for John Cena vs. The Rock vs. CM Punk for Payback in Chicago. That crowd will be unruly. Even if The Rock can't do an appearance in there, could you imagine a darker Cena (probably not a heel, but someone who will do anything to keep the WWE Title and protect his status as the "franchise player" in WWE) facing a returning Punk in his hometown? Punk winning the WWE Title there again could be massive.

I'm also thinking that Taker vs. Punk this year could lead to either Taker vs. Punk II or Austin vs. Punk (depending on how much Taker likes working with Punk). I'm still thinking that an appropriate ending to the match would be Taker's Hell's Gate forcing Punk to pass out, but Punk shows the sheer toughess not to submit -- drawing comparisons to Austin vs. Hart from WrestleMania 13. It could be used to build up Austin and Punk as Yin and Yang for whenever, if ever, they have their dream match.

I hope that when this match goes down, they will have had plenty of time to use the bathroom and won't have to piss and shit in the sink like the undercard wrestlers.
