I'm having technical difficulty with HDMI and wanted to know what you guys think
So a few days ago I had the power go out for like 16 hours to half my apartment because of a short circuit and ever since then my 32" Sylvania TV won't pick up any HDMI ports, not the cable box, not my PS4 or the 80 GB PS3. I tried 3 different HDMI cables. I hooked up my PS3 on 2 other TV's, still no signal for some reason (the other TVs have a better resolution if anything)

When I use VGA with the PS3 it says it detected an HDMI source and when I press okay to switch to that input I get nothing on the video input or the HDMI. I have to restart my PS3 to get the VGA signal again.

My PS4 worked with the other TV right away, so yay to that. So since my cable can't pick up any HDMI my last resort is trying to plug my TV into another cable box and see. But I think chances are it's a cheap TV, I had it for years and I need a new one.
