Hulkamania's Soap Box-Post GAB Thoughts

I had written earlier that this was going to be the most predictable card on the earth. And I was almost right. Luther Reins/Kenzo Suzuki/Mordecai all had their expected victorys over people we actually want to see(yeah, even Hardcore), the U.S. title and Cruiserweight weight title matches were very solid and fun to watch, and we didnt get to see sable and torrie naked.

SWERVE!!!!! Bradshaw wins the Title!!!
One Question
WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!!?

It was a pretty good match though I was enjoying it, enjoying the beating Eddie was dealing, and then my jaw dropped as it all went to hell.
Needless to say,I think i'm gonna take a Smackdown break for awhile.

One more question- WHERE IN GODS NAME WERE THE AUTHORITYS WHEN UNDERTAKER KILLED PAUL BEARER?!?!
Don't even try telling me to use my imagination on this one because i've tried and it hasn't worked out. This was just plain fucking stupid. Does Paul Bearer have to stay out of public now so people think hes dead? Can he ever write an internet column again? What am I supposed to think if he does?

My only conclusion is that the Undertaker used his supernatural powers to prevent the police from caring about his former mentor. He then got in a rocket ship and flew out of the arena, never to be seen again.

Great American Bash thoughts anyone?

I thought the card was fairly predictable all the way through. I sincerely thought the Dudley Boyz would win the main event.

It was explained the authorities thought Paul Heyman was joking. I guess they didn't order The Great American Bash. On Paul Bearer's website they have a little thing up saying "Paul Bearer, Cemented in History, 1991-2004" or something. I laughed reading that, as sick as it sounds. It's going to be interesting how things work out now. I'd expect they reveal Paul Bearer isn't a legal person, and claim legally he never existed, and his birth name was not known, so Undertaker isn't responsible for anything. Maybe Paully B will return with Mordecai when he feuds with Taker (Or he shows up with Kane on RAW).

Now what would've made alot more sense is if Heyman controlled Taker to lay down for the 3-count and give the dudleyz the victory, that would've made alot more sense.
As for the rest of the PPV, i didn't see it so i can't really comment.

The CW match was the best match of the PPV. The US title match was alright except for the fact hat RVD was eliminated first. As for Eddie vs JBL, it was a decent match but Bradshaw won. I still can't believe that he is in the same category as Flair, Bret, HBK, Undertaker, Steve Austin, The Rock, Kurt Angle as a wrestler that has held the WWE title.

Just because he has the title does NOT put him in that category. Is David Arquette on par with all the WCW wrestlers now.

GAB wasn't a horrible ppv. It had its moments that would be remembered such as the RVD slip and JBL winning the title. Glad to see Cena retain. The start of the main event almost looked like a tv main event. Every time Taker did some kind of offense, Heyman would always stop him, until Taker managed to shut him up.

JBL winning the title, what can you say that hasn't already been said? I personally don't hate it, but I do hate the fact that he can do something absolutely illegal in another country, come back here and get rewarded for it. But either way, the title reign won't last very long and I'm sure Eddie will get it back soon.
