Hogan pissed off McMahon enough that Vince didn't really want him on the show.

IMO, Hogan should have been there, but at the same time, so should've Bruno, Backlund, Savage, Hart and several other guys who helped make the WWE what it is.

The thing with Hogan is that he still thinks he's worth more than he actually is. He was pissed about his Mania XIX payoff and quit int he middle of a program. I guess Vince felt he didn't need him that badly to put up with his crap.

But rest asurd, he'll be back at some point.

I was disappointed that Hulk Hogan wasn’t there because he headlined the first WrestleMania and everything he did for Vince McMahon and the wrestling industry.

Hogan gave the legdrop to Vinnie Mac at WM 19...so he was fired and send to Iraq.

I'm kind of glad he wasn't there. That show put a lot of emphasis of the stars or tomorrow... Not the stars of 239047234892389 years ago. If Hogan were to have wrestled in Smania XX, he would taken every importance off every other match and make it all about him. I find him to be a glory hog. Smania XIX should have been his last match period. Real wrestling fans know why. I don't need to exlpain.

Why would I want the event where Chris Benoit finally won (and kept) the World Title to be tainted by the appearance of Hogan?

But on a side note I just saw VH1's Inside Out:Hulk Hogan Stage Parent...I don't know how many times I had to hear Brook-a-Mania or that Brook should be the Women's Champion...and to top it all off Brook isn't all that attractive, nor talented....Apple dosn't fall far from the tree I guess.

The bottom line with Hulk Hogan is this, he is charismatic (no one can deny this), but the gimmick, the fame, the A-Mania, EVERYTHING was done by Vince McMahon and a dash of luck and timing. And Vince thanks us the fans...so I bid ado and farwell to the "Golden" Era of WWF. And may I never be forced to see a Hogan, Savage, or Lugar match again.

I was sort of gald that Hart or Hogan didn't make an appearance at WM 20. What would most of the fans have remembered WM 20 for. Hogan appearing or Hart interfereing in the triple threat match match to win the title for Benoit. I think that this was Benoit's night, the night that he finally became World Champion and I think that he deserved to win it and for fans to remember WM 20 as the night that Benoit became the World Champion.

KaliKot does not have that much rep yet (10+)
Nooooo he should have been there for commemorating 20 years of HIM which HE started
It should not have been for tommorrow. The "tommorrow" guys should have been second priority. When else do we get to commemorate what the PAST guys have done? It was the perfect day, although it was not perfect without Hogan and the other guys

Even 5 minutes of hogan would have sufficed

Yeha he shoulda been there, even flair though the same he shoulda been there but wasn't to be. He was recovering from surgery around that time anyway so might not have been able to attend even if he had been invited.
