I just went to a Raw house show yesterday (my first show, damn it was so cool seeing it in person. 360 pounds of Samoan looks a lot bigger in person), and the opening match was Rhyno and Tajiri VS Chuck Palombo and Simon Dean… Before the match started I was talking to a few fans about how he should be Nova, and how we should start up a Nova chant. Well, it’s the first live event, so I HAD to watch. “Simon Dean” looks like a potentially entertaining persona. Avoids a hit and then stretches, gets a boot to the tailbone while doing lunges, and a push up/choke hold combo. He told Rhyno something to the effect of “I’m here to help you, help you!” Nova I don’t remember much from ECW, aside from frequently marking out for Raven, Rhyno, Tommy Dreamer and Nova. Their name could be mentioned like “And I saw Tommy Dreamer (MARK OUT!!!) and Nova (MARK OUT!!!) standing around the coffee table the other day at Raven’s (MARK OUT!!!) house, and they talked about Rhyno (MARK OUT!!!).” So he must have been great in ECW. A lot of fans have talked about how they want to see him as Nova, not Simon Dean. Quote:
