Rate The Wrestler - Day 115 - Tully Blanchard
Welcome, I'm filling in for Funky Fly, and well, Justin Credible scored a somewhat low...yet somewhat, rightfully scored 69, which, well I can't remember where that puts him....regardless we move on and as requested...Tully Blanchard, one of the originaly Horsemen, is today's Wrestler...of course, I only seen him a few time, but what I saw, he was good, I just hope more then 2 or 3 of you, actually have seen his work so we can actually grade them....Also, Expect a big special thing on Thursday, as it's my birthday....Well Laterz

Sorry for not posting this on time again, but I fell asleep while doing a take home exam. Thanks for taking over, HS. BTW, I hate this professor. What kind of bastard assigns 500 pages of new material for the final, shows up half an hour late for said final and then proceeds to put stuff that isn't even in the book on the test?

He is almost as big a heel as Tully Blanchard, who gets a 10 from me. I am waaay too tired to do a whole rating thingy.

Tully is a guy who never ever got the credit he deserved. The greatest heel. Nature Boy was good, but without Tully around it wouldn't have been the same. His in ring sklills are second to none and was putting on some of the best matches imaginable at the time. Current day wrestling was more or less shaped by Tully's work. Also without doubt one of the only men to carry the TV Title with dignity and make it seem like a DAMN important title.

One of the best. The One said everything I was going to say, but it's worth repeating anyway.
He never got the credit he should have, and he was one of the better wrestlers in the business. He was a genuine wrestler, an excellent worker, and a great heel.

IThe only one of those guys I have ever seen is Fleisch (amazing cruiser before retiting) and the only other one I've heard of is Doug Williams.

If you have some match recommendations, post them here, so people can get an idea of these guys.

Serious old school english wrestling most of them, 70s and 80s. In fairness only a small handfull of english posters will know haystacks and nagasaki etc.

Serious numbers of wrestlers made it big here first on old style english wrestling. Bret and Owen Hart, Steve Regal, Dynamite of course... Meh, was a good idea that in the long run was a bad idea.
