Abyss to WWE?
It is being reported on 411Mania.com (i'm not sure what other sites) that Abyss has given his notice ot TNA, as his contract has expired. It is rumoured by many that Abyss may be heading to WWE.

All I can say is wow. I hope Abyss comes in at New Year's Revolution, attacks Kane, then heads over to SmackDown!.

Swinger is reported to have quit as well. I can see Abyss going to the WWE because Vince has a hard on for big guys, althouth I'm not sure how big Abyss actually is cause he's always wrestling small guys in TNA.

Abyss is 6'10". I don't know if a guy like Abyss has a place in WWE. I mean he is imposing, and yes he isn't bad for a bigger guy, but not only have I never seen anything special out of him, I just don't think he can hold a candle to the likes of Kane...or even a guy like Snitsky. Maybe it is just that I don't like his character, but something about our Abyss just sends me to the pisser.

Plus this is just a rumor, as is the rumor of Swinger as well...and couple that with the rumor that three ROH stars are in talks with WWE...I don't know it seems like they are sure snatching up alot of names when they are already struggling to find proper air time for the wrestlers they already have.

I would be up for seeing Abyss in the WWE. I have always been impressed by him in TNA and would like to see him in the WWE.

I am also thinking that this could be a good chance for Stevie Richards. Act more like he did during the alliance angle pissed off at the WWE for not giving him a fair chance and then he brings in the monster Abyss and manages him and wrestles a bit as well and just generally be the mouth piece for him. Just a thought. I can hope.

Don't really know why they would sign Swinger though. Don't really like him. Just hasn't impressed me that much in the time I have watched TNA.

Mayo this is him



He's a big guy. Not sure if he is actually 6"10 but he is at least 6"8 and his finisher is a torture rack into a backbreaker and the Black Hole Slam whcih is like a spinning Side Slam. When he does it particularly to guys like AJ Styles it looks quite brutal.

My initial instinct is to agree, but there are two things keeping me from making a final judgment... 1) TNA hasn't really let him showcase any kind of real ability, and 2) his character in TNA has been a really godawful cross between Kane and Mankind. If WWE would start fresh with him I think he could really shine; a few spots I've seen out of him have been fairly impressive so I'd love to see him do something interesting.

I don't know why, but I can see him being the third Calloway kid, but one that was left in Spain (where Kane was born), because they considered him "evil".

Yeah, I forgot to post that thing about Johnny Swinger as well. It would be nice if Simon Diamond came with him, though. To be honest, this idea may sound like it'd suck, but I'd LOVE to see "The Johnny Swinger Show" on SmackDown! as a parody of The Jerry Springer Show.

Yeah, so basically Abyss asked for a raise and I guess is was Jarrett who refused to give him it and Abyss got pissed and quit. He said he had a deal with the WWE and he was taking it.
